"Hey, Mads!" I called out towards my best friend, a short girl with longish brown hair. Me, on the other hand, I'm tall with short dirty blonde hair, with glasses.
"Heyyy! You ready for the field trip??? I'm gonna beat you in a race to the top!" She grinned while saying that.
"No you're not, I will WIN!" I say laughing
"BET!" She yelled, making her way onto the bus as she began to screech, disturbing everyone around her as they began to stare. "Am I really that pretty that you can't take your eyes off me?" She smirked, eyes narrowing as they turned to look away, most of them rolling their eyes as she began to laugh. Then I joined in on the laughing. Us acting like maniacs. But I do not care.
The bus ride was rather short. The whole way, Mads and I were joking around and annoying everyone else on the ride, though we really didn't pay attention to them. They probably think we're insane, even the teachers give us odd looks. But they're the hell class.
"I! WILL! WIIIIIINNNNNNNN!" Mads began to run full speed towards the mountain, me running after.
"NOOOOOOO! I WILL! win!!!!!!" I began to run after her, though not even two seconds in, she fell back, arms sprawled out taking deep breaths. Then I started walking to her, looking down.
"Go on without me......" She breathed out, one hands draped over her eyes.
"NO BESTIE will be left BEHIND!" I yelled, grabbing her by the hands and beginning to drag her. Sometimes making her go up and down on rocks.
"FREE RIDE??? YEEEESSSSSSS!" She screeched out, seeming to be ignoring the uncomfortable way she was getting dragged.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever, I'll drop you later." I rolled my eyes. Well laughing
"Pshhhh- Tsundere." She teased, eyes narrowed.
"What does that mean, Candy Corn?" I asked, calling her a name I would only call her if I were mad.
"Oh, Honey, you got a lot to learn." She shook her head in a fake disappointed manner.
"And I thought you would be first on the mountain, bitch."
"You obviously don't know me, my stamina levels are SHIT." She didn't seem to be complaining about how I was dragging her.
I guess I'll take her food later. But we'll take everyone's food later as well.As I was dragging her, the group began to start walking past, the teachers not caring if we were left behind. We aren't exactly the favorites around here as you can tell. Except, Mads she really likes Mr. Watkins, they're basically siblings, even though they're 30 years apart by age.
Then, we have the English teacher, who likes me because I write the CRAZIEST of stories, but I really don't like her because she hates Mads. She's always yelling in the middle of class. Got her in trouble thousands of times.
"Idiots." One of the mean kids had scoffed out under their breath.
"You're the one talking. Dumb butt." I said right to his face, looking annoyed and bored as hell from talking to him.
"You just noticed?" Mads had stared up at him innocently as she was being dragged as if she were just some corpse and I were a murderer.
He said nothing in return as he walked away from us weirdos. He probably just didn't know how to respond to us idiats. (A/n: yes, we meant to spell this)
It took us two days to get over half way up the mountain.
"Mountains are big, mannnn!" Mads had groaned, tired as all hell. She was definitely not the most fit person in school.
"I know right, Mads? It's like we're in a different world. But Mads, I have been bringing your lazy butt up here basically. You lazy person." I say, glad that I work out in my free time, unlike someone I know. But I am still tired as crap.
"I did some work." She huffed, crossing her arms.
"Walking 10 steps doesn't count" I say rolling my eyes at her.
"I walked more than ten steps!" She argued. "Watch this, I'm gonna walk the rest of the way! Believe it!" She had referenced one of our favorite shows, Naruto.
"Finally you can actually walk, but seriously it doesn't matter anymore. Because we're going to be there in 2 hours."
"Two hours is longer than 10 steps." She raised a brow at me.
"Sure, sweetheart."
"Ohhh the sarcasm." She draped a hand over her forehead dramatically as she began to actually walk. What a miracle, I thought. The class probably thought the same, seeing her actually walk up the mountain.
When we finally get to the mountain, we had began to raid everyone, stealing all of their precious, delicious, food. Of course, this wasn't in the broad daylight. It was midnight, everyone was asleep. It was great eating some of it last night with my best friend.
Now, to skip to the morning. We were going to go to the parachuting area to get down from the mountain, beautiful scenery to fly over.
I began to suit up, putting our food inside the tent. We wrapped the parachute to the tent, throwing the tent off the cliff with us inside. When going down inside the tent, we hear ripping, seeing the parachute break.
"Oh shit- Izzy- Before we die-" Mads began to get all sentimental.
"It's okay Mads, we have each other to blame. I love you man."
"I love you too." She wrapped her arms around me in a large embrace, closing her eyes tightly in a dramatic way. It seems we had forgotten to scream.
I then grabbed the sacred chocolate I stole and ate it. I was happy I ate chocolate before I died, but sad I never had sex, same with Mads. But Mads soon realized something I wish she did not.
"Wait- Isn't that my chocolate?!" Mads said in shock.
The last few moments were filled with interesting silence. And then, darkness enclosed both of us as our lives had come to an end.
