"And who the hell might you be?!" Shadis towered over Thea, glaring down at her. He definitely wasn't pleased in the slightest.
"Oh- HAHA-- Gimme- Just- AHAHAHHA--- A moment... HAHAHA-" She continued to laugh, beginning to start crying.
"SHUT UP!" He grabbed the top of her head, tilting it up to face him, scowling at her. I grabbed his hand, getting it off Thea, standing in front of her.
"I am sorry for my sister's behavior on my behalf. But please don't touch her." I said in a stern voice. Looking up at him with a serious face, looking straight into his eyes.
Shadis scowled at me, though he didn't say much, just snatched his arm away, now turning to me. "You both will be running til' dusk." He growled.
Though, as soon as he had said this, his eyes traveled past the two, towards a girl with brown hair, zoning out whilst munching on a potato.
Let's just say, she ended up having to run alongside us. Thea wasn't doing so well, she had begun to lay on the ground, which wasn't a good idea, Shadis might come back and maybe even punish her further this time, so I grabbed her and set her on her feet again. I wouldn't let any of us get in trouble again.
"Potatoes...." The brown-haired girl was groaning, drooling as she had lazily jogged forward.
"I'm hungryyyyy-" Thea whined.
"I may or may not have food..." I muttered.
"FOOD?!" Sasha yelled, almost tackling us.
"WOAH, JEEZ, QUIET DOWN OR WE'LL GET CAUGHT-!" Thea began to wrestle with Sasha on the ground, causing me to slow down into a walk.
"I can't give any away right now, we still have to run. I can give you girls some after we finished running." I said in a quiet voice.
"Really??" And with that, Sasha took off running at full speed, not once slowing down.
"If only I had the stamina to do that." Thea blinked, dumb-founded.
"You do know that I will give you a sweet or two if you started running," I said. And with that, Thea started, or tried, to run now. It was funny seeing her run, she is so out of shape at this point. It's hard not to laugh. I guess I should join them now. With that I started to run with them passing Thea on the way, oh so easily.
It was a long rest of the day. The sunset nicely, I was glad I was able to see it, I mean, this wasn't completely bad with the nice setting the sky had set.
"We can stop now?" Thea asked, out of breath, beads of sweat forming on her forehead.
"Yes, we can stop," I replied with a small smile. I'm so glad that I don't have to work as hard as them, my stamina is much higher than theirs.
Sasha made her way towards the torch set up to light the outside of the cabins, falling face down into the dirt, eyes closed. Thea and I followed her towards the fire, both of us asking if she was okay in unison. Sibling things, I guess.
We both heard someone approaching, Sasha's nostrils starting to flare as she began to smell something that we couldn't.
All of a sudden, ba boom! Sasha's eyes opened wide as she leaped forward at the person, taking the food in her mouth like a demon.
None for us, I guess.
"She started chewing on it like a rabid dog, then suddenly coming to terms with what was in her mouth.
