Stuck in Attack On Titan

Chapter 10

After deciding that they had no more use for being there, they had decided to head back. Unbeknownst to them, their friends were watching as titans devoured one of their own kind, as if they were just a large human.

When Thea and Baer found them they saw titans trying to eat another titan. "Um...Thea am I seeing this right?" Bear asked, not quite sure what was going on was true even though he saw it right in front of him.

"You mean... The cannibalism that's taking place? If so, then yeah." Thea muttered back, no longer joking around. This could be a major step forward for those who studied titans. But at the same time, this could be a major step back. This rose the question. Are titans really only stuck to eating humans? Or does this have a deeper meaning?

Thea didn't know that these questions she was asking herself were about to be explained.

"We have to help the titan." Thea announced to Baer. "This could be our only chance to fight back against the titans and take back wall Maria!" Thea explained.

"I couldn't agree more with you, sis." Baer agreed and they both launched forward together, absolutely demolishing the titans.

Thea with her agility, and Baer with his strength.

It wasn't going to go unnoticed, though. They had no idea that their friends who were watching them would later spill their knowledge of their skills to the higher ups of the scout regiment.

Once they killed the bad titans off the good titan. The good Titan got free from the bad titans, killing the rest of the Titans off. Making sure not to hurt Thea and Baer in the process. It ran straight towards another one, as if it had some sort of grudge against it.

"That's the titan that ate Tom!" They overheard someone call out from on top of the buildings, and they looked to see their group of friends. Thea had glanced towards Jean first, wanting to see if he was okay or not. He seemed fine.

"Baer. We need to get up there and join them." Thea had recommended and Baer nodded, both of them using their gear to get to the top of the buildings and join their friends.

"How are you guys doing? Anyone hurt?" Bear ask concerned for his friends and his team-mates.

"Jean's been complaining about his arm." Armin spoke in a concerned tone, causing Jean to go red.

"No. I'm not hurt. I never complained about a thing." Jean shook his head, knowing Thea was right there and he probably didn't want to sound weak in front of her. But instead of saving himself from embarrassment, he just dug his hole deeper than it was before.

"Oh? Then why is your face red?" Thea asked, poking Jean's cheek aggressively.

"Wh-"

"You're such a baby, if your arm hurts, then deal with it. Or help yourself to some bandages. Tchhh-" Thea shook her head. "Don't complain, everyone already has enough on their plate right now."

"Thea is kind of right. Don't be a baby, if you get hurt, get help, but if it's not that bad, don't complain." Bear said, agreeing.

"W- Hey now, I-" Jean stuttered, trying to think of something to say. Everyone seemed to be ganging up on him and he wondered if he did something wrong to make Thea act so cruel.

Though, he did remember that they just got done fighting titans. She could be tired... Traumatized.

Jean did the best not to say anything mean back to Thea, he didn't want to make anything worse than it already was. If she needed someone, he was there, and he hoped that she knew that.

But then there was Baer... What if- Nah... He's a man, he can deal with it.

"What are you thinking about?" Thea asked, as if she knew what was going on in Jean's head.

"Nothing." Jean replied, backing away from her and looking around to everyone else, who seemed to be talking amongst themselves. Then Jean saw Baer staring daggers at him. He momentarily wondered what was wrong with him, until Mikasa saw something.

"Guys, look." She pointed towards the titan as it collapsed.

They stared, until the steam started to dissipate, throwing everyone off guard as they saw what was behind it.

"EREN??"
