Dinner was mad, a simple soup with bread. The soup was simple, but it smelled amazing for someone who hadn't eaten the entire afternoon. A simple chicken brother with a few fresh vegetables chopped up and small shreds of meat made up the entirety of the soup that sat before her. They were heated over a fire only to be dished up in a small bowl ready to eat when anyone was ready.

Amaria sat at the table, barely having moved since Devlyn had left. Even when the food was placed in front of her all she could do was stare at it blankly. Her mind seemed to be elsewhere, far away from the present. Ananke had finally decided to join her, as did Corvin, the both of them sitting on either side of her. The two were eating quietly while glancing between her and one another. You could clearly see the curiosity and worry within both Ananke and Corvin's eyes as their gazes met in a silent conversation. One she was almost certain was about herself. Regardless, Amaria wasn't paying much attention to the actions of Ananke and Corvin, she was far more interested in her soup and pushing the meat around within the broth.

"I'm going to look for him."

The words escaped her as her attention lifted from her soup to her friends in the room.

"What!?"

"You can't!"

Jumping in surprise, Amaria turned her wide eyed gaze onto the two people who protested her leave. She wasn't surprised by Corvin's question, but Ananke, the outburst she had given shortly after Corvin's had surprised her the most. To add to that surprise and growing confusion, Ananke had stood from her seat with her own wide surprised filled eyes locked onto Amaria's.

"And why shouldn't I?"

The question was a serious one and directed towards her female traveling companion rather than her childhood family friend. It wasn't Ananke that had answered the question, instead, it was Corvin that had spoken up.

"Because, it's far too dangerous. I will not have you going out there when people are disappearing every night from their beds."

Amaria had stood from her seat at a rather slow pace, hands planted firmly upon the tabletop. She was eye both Ananke and Corvin, daring both of them to try and stop her from leaving the inn to go search for Devlyn. It baffled here that the two weren't as worried about him as she was.

"Sweety. . ."

Turning her attention onto Ananke, she stood up straight trying to assert her dominance over the matter. The older red headed woman walked over and rested her hands upon Amaria's shoulders, looking her right in the eyes as she prepared what she was going to say.

". . .he's a big boy, he can take care of himself."

"I'd listen to her, girl. That boy won't let nothing harm him. I'm sure it would kill him if anything happened to you."

Wiggling free from the red head's grasp, Amaria took a step back while looking between the two people in the room. She shook her head slowly, pushing in her chair only to move around the table. Her destination was the stairs and it appeared that no one was planning to stop her, which in her mind, was a very good thing.

"I'm going to find him and make sure he and the horse are okay. He's been out there far too long."

Stopping at the bottom of the stairs, Amaria glanced over her shoulder towards the table where she left Corvin and Ananke standing silent and dumbfounded. She wasn't sure who was more dumbfounded, Corvin or Ananke.

"I'm sorry, I'll be back."

She flashed an apologetic smile, disappearing up the stairs.

"Still as stubborn as can be, such a rebel that girl is."
