Aurora POV
After the agonizingly painful to watch display of Loki trying to convince Heimdall
We all Enter the Observatory,
"Be warned. I will honor my sworn oath to protect this realm as its Gatekeeper. If your return threatens the safety of Asgard, Bifrost will remain closed to you and you'll be left to die in the cold waste of Jotunheim." Heimdall said
"I have no plans to die today." Thor said
"None do." Heimdall said
Heimdall inserts his sword into the control panel, and the, apparatus of the Observatory starts up.
The Bifrost energy quickens along the Bridge, feeding int, the Observatory.
Heimdall turns his sword in the control panel. The Observatory's giant turret swings around, aims toward a section of space. As a final step, Heimdall plunges his sword deeper into the control panel. The great turret FIRES, the RAINBOW LIGHT of Bifrost energy blasts out of it. The Bifrost opens at the end of the platform upon which Thor and the rest of us stand.
"All is ready you may pass," Heimdall said
"Couldn't you just leave the bridge open for us?" Volstagg said
"To leave the bridge open would unleash the full power of the Bifrost and destroy Jotunheim with you upon it." Heimdall said
"Never mind Then" Volstagg said
Thor starts to the Bifrost, and turns back at us all,
"Come don't be bashful," Thor said
Loki was right next to me, he bend down to whisper in my ear,
"Do not leave my side sister," Loki said
I nodded, Even though I've been trained for battle, I'm not as experienced as Thor or Loki,
We walked into the Bifrost we landed in a bright light I see Jotunheim in ruin,
"This is awful.." I said
"This is the results of war sister," Loki said
Volstagg almost falls over the edge but Thor grabs him by the belt helping me,
"Come on Big Fella," Thor said helping him
"This belt! This Belt is now my lucky Belt! I will never remove it, even when bathing!" Volstagg said
"You bathe?" Fandral said
I chuckled
"We shouldn't be here," Hogun said
"Too late now," Thor said
"Actually, it's not. We could turn right around, hop back to Asgard,share a mug by the fire. Could be nice." Fandral said
Thor ignores him, Loki looks around anxious
"Where are they?" SIF asked
"Hiding, as cowards always do." Thor said
Thor leads us to some sort of plaza, Loki stays near me but also looks anxious,
I don't like the feeling I was getting,
"What is your business Asgardian?" The voice said it was gruff and sounded like crackling ice,
"I speak only to your king not to his foot soldiers," Thor said
"Then speak," The voice said
Thor turns towards the source in a balcony of the temple, where a man sits, veiled in shadow, behind a cascading waterfall. The Jotun King is ancient, noble, powerful -- and yet, his eyes show sadness and pain,
I looked into his eyes with empathy,
"I am Laufey, King of this realm," Laufey said
I put my hand on my heart, to show respect,
King Laufey looked at me with a sorrowful smile, acknowledging my respect for him,
"And I am-" Thor began
"We know who you are, Odinson, why have you brought the stench of your blood into this world," Laufey said
"I demand answers " Thor said Laufey stand sizing up Thor, tries to piece this together. "You demand?" Laufey said "How did your people get into Asgard?" Thor asked "The House of Odin is full of traitors," Laufey said
"Do not dishonor my father's name with your lies!" Thor said
"Your father is a murderer and a thief!He stole what was ours, and left our world in ruin, we have a right to reclaim the casket," Laufey said
"Not when you'd use it to make war against other realms" Thor said
Laufey chuckles coldly
"And why have you come here? To make peace? You long for battle. You crave it. You're nothing but a boy trying to prove himself a man." Laufey said
"Well, this "boy" has grown tired of your mockery. " Thor said
I hesitantly stepped in front of Thor,
"Aurora.." Loki whisper yelled,
"Please your majesty, we have not come here to fight or cause anymore pain," I said
"Ah, The princess of Asgard your as lovely as ever," Laufey said
"I am humbled for your suggestion princess but it seems your brother has different ideas," Laufey said
Loki yanks me back, Thor walks toward him but another Frost Giant blocks him from the king,
I see that we are surrounded,
"Thor, stop and think. Look around you, we're outnumbered." Loki said
"Know your place, Brother."Thor said
"You should listen to his counsel, you know not what your actions would unleash," Laufey said
Laufey looked at me,
"And bringing the princess very unwise, you have any idea how treasured she is over the realms," Laufey said
Loki blocked his sight of me,
Laufey walks out of the shadows revealing himself,
"But I do, now go while I still allow it," Laufey said
"We will accept your most gracious offer." Loki said from beside me
Thor (GRUNTS)
"Come on, Brother." Loki said
Thor follows us hesitantly
"Run back home, little princess." A Frost Giant said
"Damn." Me and Loki said
I closed my eye knowing full well what was about to happen
In one quick move, Thor pulls Mjolnir, swings it, and KNOCKS the Jotun clear across the plaza. The we all reluctantly draw their weapons, gather into a circle around Thor. Volstagg looks around at the angry Jotuns approaching us.
"Silly Hammer has a mind of it's own!" Volstagg said
ICE forms on the Jotuns' bodies, creating a FROZEN ARMOR around them, extending off the ends of their arms like SWORDS. One Giant does so directly in front of Fandral.
Oh no I thought looking at Laufey with sorrow in my eyes seeing full well he really didn't want to do this,
