About an hour after making it clear that we were never leaving each others sides, we walked along the beach as we all got to know each other a bit better.

"It sounds like you've had a pretty amazing life then!" I exclaimed. Dylan chuckled as Olivia gave a half-smile,

"Not all of it has been the best but I am sure it will get better." She said encouragingly. I nodded and smiled. As Dylan and Olivia sunk into another deep conversation, I decided to go and sit down on a log that laid in the grainy sand. Soon, Lily (the Williams' family dog that is named after my best friend - also the same name as the little girl on the train) started barking just like every normal dog would do, but according to Olivia and Dylan, this was very unusual. As soon as I saw their confused faces, I asked them,

"How come it is so confusing when Lily barks?" They quickly snapped their heads towards me and they looked kind of scary because they stared at me in a hard manner. I put my hands up in defence,

"Okay. Okay. I get it. You can stop staring at me now." I said. Suddenly, Lily started barking again but the only difference was that it was louder and she was standing by a deep hole.

"I think we should go and see what she is barking at," Dylan suggested, Olivia and I agreed and went over to the golden retriever - I was the first to get to Lily and she nudged me toward the hole. Suddenly, I tripped over a little stick and right into the hole; it was so much deeper than I intended it to be. My head started spinning when I got to my feet and looked up - I saw two worried faces shouting if I was okay, I just gave them a thumbs up and looked around.

'Stop it Victoria!' A voice in my head said, 'Wait for them to come down otherwise it won't be fair!' However, I carried on looking around for something specific this time like a rope or a ladder or something that can help them get down. After many a moment, I managed to find a leaver. I found this extremely strange because it was in a deep hole - after a little debate on whether I should pull the lever, I decided to pull it, and so that is what I did. Abruptly, I heard the sound of clanking metal and a passageway open up and soon enough I saw a staircase leading from the top of the beach down to where I am. One thing I didn't notice was that the stairs went further into the ground until Dylan and Olivia came down with a barking dog behind them.

"Woah!" Olivia gawped at the beautiful, underground layer that seemed to be here for a while, "What is this place?" She asked. I shrugged my shoulders as an indication to say I don't have a clue.

"No wonder Lily was barking!" Dylan whispered while petting the dog, "She must've dug deep to get here!" He said as if he was thinking out loud. I was sitting on the floor and the guys were too busy admiring the elegant stone base or whatever it really was to notice me - Dylan was the first to notice and came rushing towards me and pulled out a hand for me to take. Gleefully, I took his warm hand into my freezing one.

"Geez Victoria! You're absolutely freezing!" Dylan shockingly said as he rubbed my hands to try to get them to warm up. It was as if my stomach exploded but all of a sudden, butterflies started to fly freely in my stomach and I didn't really know the cause of it. That is when I remembered that if we don't do something about the stair, someone else will see.

"What should we do about the massive hole and the open stairs?" I asked, Olivia and Dylan both looked at me and asked,

"Why do you ask?" I rolled my eyes playfully before giving them an explanation of why we should close the stairs and cover up the hole.

"Well, for starters, we wouldn't want this place to be crowded if other people found it because it seems like a place for peace and serenity. Second of all, it would be so obvious and if we aren't allowed in here then we would be in major trouble and third of all, this looks like a really nice place just for the three of us. Maybe when we all go off and get married or whatever, then we can give it to either our children or give it to the council for inspection. What do you think?"
