After all the drama downstairs, Darcie went up to her old bedroom. The girl was sitting on the floor, she remembered she had stuck polaroid's from her childhood on the ceiling. She did this so she could look at them whenever she was drifting off to sleep. It was quite comforting seeing the pictures again, all the memories started to flood through.

The polaroid's included images of her and her siblings, even one of Vanya practicing her violin. There was one where she had managed to catch an action shot of her lost brother, Number Five, space jumping. She missed Five, although he always thought superior of himself, he would always help her with science and math revision. The girl never understood the stuff, she began to softly chuckle at the past.

Another picture she looked at was one of her and Diego - the two of them had always been close. In fact they hadn't gotten a chance to properly catch up. It was funny because she could remember having slight feelings for the boy when they were younger, however she never did know if he felt the same. It would be weird since if they were together because they were bestfriends, well Klaus as well so they were like a trio. So it wouldn't work, right?

Darcie continued to look at the images above.

"Children behave, that's what they say when we're together"

A muffled version of 'I Think We're Alone Now' by Tiffany was blasting throughout the academy. The girl lifted her head up, becoming aware of the music.

"And watch how you play"

"They don't understand"

"And so we're.."

"Running as fast as we can"

She finally stood up, swaying in time with the music.

"Holdin' on to one another's hand"

"Trying to get away into the night"

"And then you put your arms around"

"And we tumble to the ground"

"And then you say"

"I think we're alone now"

Soon the girl's swaying turned into twirling around. She wasn't great at dancing but that didn't matter to her at the moment.

"There doesn't seem to be anyone around"

"I think we're alone now"

"The beating of our hearts is the only sound"

"Look at the way"

We gotta hide what we're doin'"

"Cause what would they say"

"If  they knew, and so we're.."

"Running just as fast as we can"

The light from Darcie's window shone through, creating a warm a shadow throughout her room. Dust particles danced alongside the girl. She felt so worry free and she loved it.

A blue spawn of light broke the calm feel of before from outside, stopping the girl in her tracks. She stared out of the window before rushing downstairs and out the door, where the others were stood too.

The siblings gathered around ahead of the glowing, blue orb. Diego held his arm in front of Darcie, attempting to guard her from the obscurity ahead.

"What is it?" Vanya asked in a bewildered manner.

"Don't get too close!" Allison called out.

"Yeah, no shit!" Diego snarked back at the woman. Darcie glared at the boy in a way which signaled 'be nice'. Diego briefly looked back at the girl unbothered.

"Looks like some sort of temporal anomaly. Either that or a miniature black hole. One of the two." Luther exclaimed, trying to make sense of the situation.

"Pretty big difference there, Paul Bunyan." Diego replied. Darcie smiled up at the boy, chuckling at his remark.

Klaus came rushing in front of the two clenching a fire extinguisher, then throwing it at the 'miniature black hole'.

"What is that gonna do?" Allison questioned the foolish boy. "I don't know. Do you have a better idea?" Klaus replied with his arms in the air.

Soon the so-called black hole somehow grew more enraged, this time there was an old man inside.

"Klaus get back here, dumbass!" Darcie called out, pulling him back to the gathering.

"Everybody get behind me." Luther ordered, making Darcie roll her eyes.

"Yeah, get behind us." Diego added.

"I vote for running, c'mon!" Klaus exclaimed. "I'm with Klaus, I'm not gonna die today." Darcie agreed with her brother.

The obscurity ahead had electricity crackling coming from it and soon the old man that was there before morphed into what looked like a small boy.

The boy let out a determined scream before falling not so gracefully to the ground with a thud. The miniature black hole slowly faded out.

The academy stumbled cautiously forward, their eyes glued to the boy in front of them. The boy looked rather messy and was in a suit much too large for him. He had a confused, yet angry expression on his face. "Does anyone else see little Number Five, or is that just me?" Klaus uttered. "No, I can see him too Klausy." Darcie told the boy.

'Little Number Five' as Klaus had described him looked down at his complexion before looking up. "Shit."

[Hey, I hope you liked this chapter. As I said before I will be adding more Diego and Darcie scenes because they haven't had a proper catch up. I just wanted to get some of the plot done with first. :) - Fern <3 ]
