The album was almost done. It's almost crunch time but right now I need a little break. I've basically been living in the studio & writing & doing meeting after meeting, getting ready to do a tour. I've put so much time and dedication to this album because this one really means the most to me.
Today I promised myself that I will leave exactly at 7 to be home at 7:30 so I can have the entire evening with Y/n. My girl she's been so patient. We live together and never see each other basically only in passing & if she is awake. But today I promised that no marter what happens im going to leave at 7. I wanted to get some quality time
in with her.
Once I was done i wrapped everything up & shut. Down. I was shutting my car door at 6:59. Tonight I planed on doing what ever she wanted to do. I stopped off to get her something special that I already ordered for her. After that I went right on home. When I got home she was already home chilling in the couch watching & doing with one of my hoodies on and her yoga shorts that I like.
"Hey .....your home early" she said noticing I came in & put a big smile on her face.
"Yes I came home early to be with my lady" I said then knocking over stacks of clothes mostly mine she washed. So I can sit her on my lap
"Really?"
"Yes, I wanted my evening to be with you."
"You not going back to the studio? & what the hell is in your pocket it's hurting my ass "she said laughing and I picked her up so I can pull it out.
" No I'm done for today just me & you. I got you this & why you so surprised" I said and her eyes glowed up when she saw it.
"Baby you didn't have to do this, thanks you babe" she said hugging my tight and kissing me all over my face. She put it on her wrist & it fit perfectly.
"Why did you get me this? Are you up to something? " She said thinking that I'm in trouble
"No , I just felt bad that I haven't been spending time with you, I basically been living in the studio & been lacking on giving you the attention you deserve. I don't want you to be mad at me"
"Music is your job. I couldn't be mad at you for doing your job. I'll be mad if you not making any music & so will a billion other people" She said poking my cheeks
"But still I just wanted you to know I love you & I wanted to do whatever you wanted to do tonight. "
"I just want to stay in & relax babe. I'm not leaving this house. I just did 8 loads of washing your dirty stuff, ran to your dry cleaner so they can take care of your blazers & jackets. Im tired. You will be on promo in less than three weeks starting Friday so will be gone for a little bit so I wanted you to have some clean clothes.& everything"
"Damn I got you the wrong accessory, let me take that back & exchange it for a ring. Look at you being all wifey." I said making her laugh & kissing her
"Is Freddie cooking tonight or am I?"
"Freddie is coming why?."
"Ok, I was just asking because I realized I didn't make any dinner yet and I'm hungry"
"You done all that you need to chill now. Let big daddy take care of the rest Big daddy got you" i said spanking her ass & winking at her at the sametime.
"You are a mess" she said laughing at me and I laughed a bit too.
Freddie came in and just in time too. He started fixing our food and we talked to him for a bit. Then i put my focus back on my babe. I found myself just looking at her for awhile until she finally noticed I was.
"Why are you staring at me"
"I like to stare at you"
"I like that you like to keep your eyes on me" she said and then winked and then looked back at the tv. & then a few moments later she looked back at me.
"What?" She asked softly
"It's all going to be worth it in the end"
"What you mean?"
"I was just thinking to myself how blessed Im truly am. I've been through so much & there was a time where it was so dark in my life and I saw no way out. But I started to believe that there was, God gave me you & I couldn't have been more happier. I really love you." I said genuinely
"& I really love you. everyday I promise to love you more & more. I won't stop" she said
"Don't ever stop" I said & then I kissed her passionately.
