Here's a quick update🥰 sorry I didn't have time to look over and make sure there wasn't any mistakes...so have fun trying to decipher what I was trying to depict here!

I rustled through reading the labels of the binders that sat standing in my locker. My fingers lightly tracing the tops of the spines before finding my chemistry binder.

Before I could pull it out, a body hit the locker beside me making me jump and turn to look at him.

Kyotani sighed deepily not making eye contact with me, just staring out the window behind me with an agitated glare. His eyebrows twitched as he crossed his arms over his chest.

You see, I can't figure out why he likes me. I never went out of my way to become his friend, for some reason my presence seemed to put his anger at ease.

"H-hello Kyotani"

His eyes scanned over to mine, suddenly softening as he replied with a quick hey.

This time he continued to stare at me, which only made me more nervous. I turned my attention back to my locker as the blush crept its way onto my face. I reached down and grabbed my binder and pulling it to my chest before stepping back and locking the door.

"I have this really big unit final in chemistry and I've never been more nervous in my life"

I desperately tried to avoid his gaze.

"You'll be fine, you're smart"

I sighed and let the sense of fear wash itself away.

"I don't know, I think I'm going to go over my notes one more time at lunch"

He pushed himself off the locker and shoved his hands into his pants pockets. Looking away and thinking for a second, a neutral expression over his face.

"I can help you study if you'd like"

His blue eyes returned to my E/C ones making the butterflies in my stomach jump.

Is he really offering to help me study? I thought he hated chem?

"You don't have to, but I would really appreciate it"

I smiled warmly as I clutched the binder closer to my chest staring into his eyes.

"You help me all the time, I think I can repay you this once"

I stood there as my smile faded.

Help him? When do I ever help him?

As if to pull me out of my thoughts he called out to me as he walked down the hall.

"Come on, let's go look at those notes"

I gulped and shook my head as I took after him.

How the hell did I not notice him walk away that fast?!

....

He sighed as he continued to read off the questions from the review package I made, stumbling over a long word every now and then.

He was smarter than you'd expect him to be, but he had troubles pronouncing words he wasn't too familiar with. He'd get embarrassed which turned into frustration, turning to me and muttering the quick "I knew that...".

As much as this encounter was helping me, I think it was teaching Kyotani something too.

My body acted before my mind could tell it that what it was doing wasn't a good idea. I softly placed my hand at the top of the paper gaining his attention, I pulled it down so it was now placed on the table.

"What did you mean earlier?"

He cocked an eyebrow as he sat back in his seat. Clearly confused as to what I was talking about.

"Earlier?"

"Yeah, when you said I helped you?"

The boys eyebrow fell, but not to relax. They quickly furrowed as he looked down. Almost as if he was searching for the right words to say.

"Y-you just help me. A lot..."

He paused and held his breath before continuing.

"I get so angry all the time, I don't know why. I just do. And then you walk into the gym and I see you and all the bad feelings go away. It's like you scare them away or something."

I giggled. My eyes shot open as I quickly slapped my hand over my mouth. He gave me a confused look, most likely trying to figure out what part of what he said was funny.

"I apologize, I didn't mean to laugh at you. It's not funny, I just"

He turned his head like a puppy awaiting my answer.

"I'm not very scary at all! I can't imagine scaring away the bad feelings"

"But you do, when you're around they go away and all I can think about is how amazing you are"

I gulped as a blush spread across my face once again.

"I think it's because you're comfortable with me, you trust me so you don't have to put up a guard like you do with the guys"

He nodded his head and cross his arms on the table holding himself up.

"Probably"

"They're your friends too Kyo, they're your team. They're meant to support you"

He looked up at me with a 'seriously?' Kind of look.

"What I mean is, you don't have to put up your guard with them. You're on the team for a reason"

He shook his head and blushed as he picked the papers up again.

"Let's get studying before I kiss you."
