Hi so I'm not sure if he actually has a sister or not...just go with it 😅 also I actually edited this one sooooo...enjoy

The cold air continued to enter my airway as I took heavy breaths, watching my breath hit the air and create a small cloud that eventually faded away.

My feet crunched in the fresh snow, it was a satisfying sound honestly. Much like my friends brother I enjoyed winter and snow. Majie has been my best friend since my first year here, she's who introduced me to Akaashi.

My feelings made themselves apparent the first day I had met him. She had taken me to one of his games, the way he gracefully set the ball to the ace was really something to pay attention to. He always seemed calm, but that wasn't the impressive part.

His partner was a spunky one, his moods would change drastically in the game going from over-confident to what I would call "Emo-Mode". Akaashi somehow always knew what to say to cheer his buddy up or calem his nerves, making him gain the confidence to keep scoring the much needed points they yearned for.

I could see them waiting for me at the corner of the street, Majie and Akaashi normally walked with me to school seeing how we lived on the same street made it easy to meet up in the mornings.

I waved and greeted the pair. Majie excitedly waved back grinning at me. Akaashi had his back to me initially but turned when he noticed his sister waving at me. He slowly glanced back at me a small smile formed on his face as he waved at me.

It melted my heart to see him smile.

"Hey guys" I acknowledged as a cheeky grin formed on my lips. "Hey Y/N, ready for our last day before winter break?" Majie chimed as she grabbed my hand and started to lead us down the sidewalk.

I nodded my head in response. I'd never been one to talk a lot, I was a lot quieter than the average person. I was bullied for how girly my voice sounded when I was younger so I slowly became more vague when it came to conversations.

"Is your family still going on that vacation to Mexico?" Akaashi implored as we began to cross the street.

My gaze shifted up to see him staring down at me. I nodded again "yeah, I believe they leave sometime this afternoon" I elaborated as I looked down at my shoes watching as some of the snow would fly up and catch in the wind with each step I took.

My parents always went to Mexico on Christmas, I've accompanied them a few times but I much rather stay home and get some much needed relaxation. It was boring going to the same place over and over.

Eventually we found ourselves arriving on school grounds Majie waved goodbye as we went out separate ways. She was a year older than me and Akaashi so she attended a different area of school.

Akaashi and I entered the building and made our way to one of our classrooms. He set his bag down on his desk in front of mine and sat down. We've sat near each other for a while. I tolerated other people but I was comfortable with him so I normally just sat close to him.

Class began, and so did my boredom. I ripped off the corner of paper and scribbled on it. I folded it up and passed it nonchalantly to Akaashi. He reached and took it from my grip.

Since today was the last day of school I decided it would be fun to have him and Majie over to watch movies tonight.

I watched as he lowered himself reading and probably responding to my request. He sneakily passed the paper back to me under his arm. I received it and flattened it out on my desk reading his response.

I gulped hard as my eyes raced back and forth through the sentence on the corner of my paper.

Alone?...

The teacher turned around scanning the class for an answer after asking a question I paid no attention to. I quickly crumpled the paper and shoved it into my jacket pocket, that's not something I feel like reading out to the rest of the class.

I pressed the end of my pencil to my cheek as my eyes followed the hands on the clock slowly making their way around the numbers. As much as I wanted time to go faster, I was also cherishing the fact that I didn't have to face Akaashi yet.

When I had asked him if he and his sister could come to my place to watch movies tonight he responded that Majie is attending a party tonight, but he would love to come and watch movies with me. I didn't mean to but I subconsciously avoided him today. I was nervous.

I've hung out with Akaashi before but never alone.

The final bell rung, pulling me out of my sudden thoughts. Well shit.

I gathered up my work and shoved it into my bag before standing up and throwing it over my shoulders. I took a deep breath as I exited the classroom, I walked down the long hallway passing by many people I normally never paid any attention to.

I walked out of the schools doors spotting Majie and Akaashi standing at the schools gates waiting for me. I hustled down the stairs and jogged towards them.

"I'm so totally pumped I get to party tonight!" Majie sang as she pranced around on the spot making me giggle at her silly antics. "Okay then, let's get going" I advised taking her hand and leading her and Akaashi down the street.

We crossed the street and made it to the driveway of Majie and Akkashi's household. Akaashi and I stopped, Majie skipped down the cement before stopping and turning around with a confused expression plastered to her face.

"Are you not coming Akaashi?" She questioned as he stood by my side, he shook his head no "no I'm going to hangout with Y/n and watch movies with her tonight. Have fun at your party" He explained waving at her.

She stood there for a moment processing what her brother had just told her. She shook her head and smiled brightly at us before throwing a thumbs up and winking at us "Okay don't have too much fun now~"

I blushed lightly as we watched her enter the house. Akaashi turned and held out his elbow for me to take. I smiled as a small blush found it's way onto my cheeks. I linked my arm threw his and held it with my free hand as we made our way down the sidewalk to my house.
