Sighing I leaned back and felt the warmth of his body hit mine.

His slow breathing putting my mind at ease for a moment.

"Ya know, we could just keep in touch"

My eyes trailed up to watch as some small clouds slowly migrated across the sky, some of the leaves from the tree we were sitting under covering my view.

I sat up and the coldness met my back as our bodies separated.

"I just don't know why we can't stay together"
