Immortal Words

I struggled to be a writer;
To be someone who can so easily and gracefully express themselves.

I stumble upon my words and often they don't come out straight. Clumsly little fellas.

Other times I'm on the floor, grappling in the darkness for the right words
and I never can seem to find them...

Until I was lost in the beauty of an old and immortal poet, and suddenly all she said made sense to me.

She held a voice I couldn't yet find.

And now I know the exact way to describe it. To describe experience of the love we shared:

"I have never seen volcanoes--"
