💮Chapter 4💮

Y/n walked with Tanjiro on her back as he slowly stirred up and leaned against her back. "Hey y/n.." he said near her ear with his hot and deep waking up voice. Y/n froze and blushed because of hearing his voice like that. "H-hey Tanj-jiro.." she whispered back while still carrying him. He smiled down at her and she spoke again. "D-did you perhaps s-sleep w-well?" she asked with a cute expression.

Oh my God, he's so close to my face! And his voice so deep when he wakes up. I mean..not to deep, but deep for a thirteen year old! Y/n thought as she faced the ground. Tanjiro chuckled and placed his arms around her chest, causing her to blush harder. "I slept fine, thank you y/n. I really needed that." he said as he placed a kiss on the behind of her head.

At this point, y/n's heart was beating a thousand times per second. She was as red as a tomato and she was now shaking. Tanjiro climbed off her back and because of her clumsiness, she fell down and rolled a little far. Tanjiro's eyes widened as he ran to her to see her laughing. "Huh? Why are you laughing y/n?" he asked as he tilted his head. She just giggled a little more before saying "no...It's just my clumsy ass that makes me laugh."

Tanjiro had never heard her say any word like 'ass' so he was a little suprised. He began to slowly chuckle as well when he saw her still laughing so much. They laughed together a little longer before y/n's eyes suddenly became slit and light e/c again. She hugged Tanjiro to herself, which meant he fell fully on top of her and all, before a log came flying through the air where Tanjiro's head would have been. She then rolled both of them down the hill, dodging other ground traps.

"Was that a trap I just saw?!" Tanjiro screamed to y/n as they rolled together. "I should've known this wouldn't have been easy Tanjiro!" y/n screamed back to him. Then suddenly, she stopped them from rolling and they started to run together hand in hand. They jumped and slid over and under logs, dodged flying arrows, slid down slippery hills. All had in hand and together.

Y/n and Tanjiro came running through the door of Urokodaki's home still holding hands. Immediately they came in, they both fell down to the ground. Urokodaki walked over to them, but suddenly noticed their intertwined fingers. Their hands weren't only holding....they were freaking intertwined.

Urokodaki looked at Nezuko who was asleep and smiled to himself. These three. Maybe Giyuu was right. Especially these two. He turned back to Tanjiro and y/n. They have such a strong bond. And they care hugely for each other. Even to the point of sacrificing themselves for each other. He looked closely at y/n again. She's a strange demon. She still has a human's heart and soul. On the inside, she's still a human.

He smiled at himself as he out the teens to bed.

Tanjiro's eyes fluttered open for him to start blushing. He looked down to his chest where y/n placed her head and was snoring quietly. D-did we sleep t-togather? He thought as he watched the black haired girl with a smile. His hand was wrapped around her waist and her hands were placed delicately on his chest. His heart was beating so fast that he could hear it through his ears.

He found his other hand slowly going to her face where it brushed a bit of her black hair out of her face and under her ear. She hummed and snuggled more into his chest. "Mmmm~Tanjirooo-kunnn~" she said in her sleep which perked Tanjiro's curiosity. She's thinking about me in her sleep? He thought as the young girl's hand trailed slowly to his and they interviewed fingers once again.
