💮Chapter 9 (B-Day Special)💮

Y/n woke up to see Zenitsu looking out the window. He was in a really good looking yellow kimono with white pants with golden tabi socks and black zori slippers.

Y/n scratched her pale blue eyes as she yawned. She then pushed her now longer hair out of her face and looked at it confused when it fell back. She held some the hair in her hand and her eyes widened slightly. Then she beamed and dropped it, standing up. She grew back into normal size and looked at Zenitsu again.

She walked over to him and tapped his shoulder. Zenitsu turned around with a huge smile and engulfed her in a huge hug. "Hey birthday girl! How are you doing today?" he asked as he spun his girlfriend in the air.

She just giggled through her muzzle and closed her eyes. When he dropped her, he gave her a head pat and smiled. "Are you ready for your great birthday?" She nodded with happiness as he kissed her forehead and smiled. "Well what are you waiting for? Go freshen up and come out!" Y/n nodded again and ran into the bathroom.

Y/n stared at her longer hair in the mirror and wondered what she would do with it. She looked at the ends. Huh? I don't remember having peach highlights. Did I get these overnight like the long hair? Or is it just a demonic phase? Either way, now I and Nezuko have almost the same kind of hair. Except mine is a lot longer....

Y/n thought as she looked at her that was all over the ground. Then suddenly the hair started to move on its own. Y/n's eyes widened as the hair formed a huge braid and flowers blossomed in some places of the hair. She smiled as she stood up and tested walking with it. It wasn't in the slight heavy anymore and she could run without tripping since the braid made it reach her ankles.

She then looked towards the desk and saw something shining. "Hmph?" she hummed through her muzzle as she walked over to the piece of material and held it in her hands. It was an orange obi with glitter all over it.

Under the obi was a skin light pink kimono that was soft as hell. Y/n picked it up and smiled as she began to wear it. The kimono had edges that were made of light fur and it faded to cyan at the end of the kimono. Y/n looked at the mirror and tears filled her eyes as she looked at the stuff Zenitsu bought her.

Before she could do anything, Zenitsu walked into the room and froze. His brown golden eyes stared at y/n as she turned around. The sunlight coming from the window made her look like a goddess. Her now overgrown hair seemed to be glowing as well and the flowers on it brought her royal blue eyes out more. Her pale skin shone like ice as she blushed and beamed at him.

Y/n...

God dammit y/n...

Why do you have to be so perfect? Why can't you just look average like other girls? Or even other demons?

Why are you so cute?

What did I did I do to meet you on that faithful day we met?

Zenitsu stared at her for a few more seconds before gulping and walking over to her. She smiled up at him as he gave her a heart warming smile. Oh my God Zenitsu. Why are you looking so cute today? Why is your smile so cute and hot? Y/n thought as she hugged him.

He wrapped his arms around her and placed his head on top of hers. Then he began to sway left and right with her in his arms. "Just calm down and let me lead okay?" he said as she smiled. Oh Zenitsu. But you have no idea I have been dancing ever since I was a child. So we'll see who takes the lead. Y/n thought as Zenitsu spun around the room while swaying left to right.

Zenitsu smiled as he placed a small kiss on y/n's head. "Today, I'm gonna do my best for you okay? I don't know if you'll like it, but I've been planing it for months. Saving up for months." he said as y/n opened her eyes again. "Hmph hmmphh."

He chuckled. "Was that a thank you?" Y/n nodded with her head still on his chest and grinned. Then Zenitsu suddenly pulled away and smirked. Y/n cocked and eyebrow as he did this. "Since you said you still have some people to celebrate your birthday with and I'm totally fine with that (not), I have to hurry up and finish my part." he said as he turned around and left the room. "Just sit down okay?" he said as he turned around the corner.

Y/n smiled and sat down on the futon.

"Open up!"

"Slow down Zenitsu oh my God!"

"But you have to do it faster!"

"Tell me please, who taught you eating fast is good. Do you want me to choke on my own power?"

The teens sat down on a mat as Zenitsu tried feeding y/n some fruits. Y/n was taking her sweet time with it, but Zenitsu wanted her to hurry up. "Please y/n! For your boyfriend?" Zenitsu said as he gave her the puppy eyes. Y/n cocked an eyebrow and smirked. "You know this don't work on me right?" she asked as she chuckled at Zenitsu.

"Hey! Don't laugh when eating! You might choke!"

"Yeah, your right. So..where were we?"

Zenitsu put the fruit basket beside her and smiled. "Your turn to feed me!" he said with joy as y/n giggled. "What if I say no huh?" y/n asked with a grin as Zenitsu frowned. "Then I won't sleep with you anymore."

Y/n laughed. "Your not the only one I can cuddle with Zenitsu! I have Kaigaku!" y/n teased meanwhile inside her mind, the first person that popped was Tanjiro. Her expression suddenly became sad.

I have been spending a lot of time away from him lately. He must be devastated. And I have been ignoring his feelings all this time. Did I make the right choice choosing Zenitsu?

Snap out of it y/n! Of course you did! Tanjiro is just a friend and nothing more!

But...what if I actually want him as mire than a friend? This would make everything much more complicated. I'll talk with him today.

Zenitsu looked at y/n sadly. "Are you okay? Did I do something wrong?" he asked as she returned her focus back to him. "No. Sorry...I just space out alot..." Zenitsu nodded slowly and smiled. "Well I just wanted to tell you that for the next few months, we won't be able to see each other because of training. I'm sorry and sad about this, but...it has to be done if we want to become demon slayers." he said with an sad smile.
