"Hey," Axl said as a girl with a brunette hair, a gray hoodie, and black sweatpants walked in. She looked about Axl's age maybe a year younger. She didn't say anything. "So are you here for depression, past traumas, or to get out of an abusive relationship, or something else?" Axl asked nicely. "Depression and past traumas," the girl said quietly. "Okay," Axl said his voice softening from happy-go-lucky to full of concern. "Spouse, parents, or other?" Axl asked. "P-Parents and spouse," The girl said quietly. "Ya know, I was abused by my father when I was young," Axl said. "Really?" the girl asked. Axl nodded. "M-my dad b-beat me and c-called me worthless," the girl said. Axl laid a hand on her shoulder. "Hey, it'll be alright. Okay?" Axl asked. The girl nodded.

Axl took a liking and a strong concern for the girl. She said spouse. He automatically felt protective over the girl. Who is hurting you? He wondered.

"Okay, so what's your name?" Axl asked. "Everly," the girl said quietly. Thats a pretty name. Axl thought. "Okay, come on. You'll have Dr. Margret today," Axl said. Everly nodded. Axl led her to Dr. Margret. "So, she's experienced trauma with a spouse and parents," Axl said. "Okay. Now sit down sweetheart," Dr. Margret said to Everly. They began to talk and Axl slipped off to deal with whoever he had next.

It was a long day and he was heading out the same time Everly was. He held the door open for her as she walked out. It was pouring ran and Axl got out his umbrella and held it out for Everly. "Thanks," she said. "No problem," Axl said. "You're litterly the nicest person I've ever met," Everly said. Axl smiled from ear to ear. "Maybe we can hang out some time," Everly said. "My house... Pizza... ten o'clock... Saturday," Axl said writing down his address. He handed it to Everly. "Okay," Everly said taking the address. "Thanks," she said. "No problem," Axl said.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Everly walked into her house only to be slammed against the wall by her boyfriend Ethan. "Where were you?" he growled. "I... I was just out with friends!" Everly lied. "You don't have any friends! You aren't that special," Ethan spat. "Where. Were. You." Everly only cried instead on answering. Ethan scoffed and stepped away from her. She fell to her knees and sobbed.

This happened all to often. She wanted it to stop. She wanted to cry out for help. But she was too scared. She'd have no one. Then she thought about it.

Axl.
