For his first day of grade 11 at a new school, an all boys Catholic school, it hadn't been as bad as it could have been. It was hot out for September and Frank was wishing the teachers had been more modest with the amount of homework they assigned. Seeing as Frank's school bag felt like it weighed 50 pounds, it was only the first day goddammit! Maybe it was the sun in his eyes, or because Frank was lost in thought about how he was going to sit around and do nothing when he got home, but for whatever reason Frank didn't see the person running in his general direction until they collided and he fell flat on the sidewalk.
"Holy smokes, Pete! You just ran into that poor guy, make sure he's okay!"
"Yeah sure, okay Patrick!" Came the reply from the guy who ran into Frank and was evidently named Pete. "Hey kid, you okay?" Asked Pete, holding out his hand to help Frank up.
"Yeah, I'm fine," said Frank, he looked up at the emo guy, who was wearing a bit too much eyeliner and took his hand. "Thanks."
Pete smiled, "No problem, Im Pete by the way, Pete Wentz," he said, "And that's Patrick," added Pete, gesturing towards the shorter and less emo of the two; Patrick smiled at Frank. It was a shy smile and probably one of the most adorable smiles Frank had ever seen, he didn't mean that in a romantic way at all. Patrick really just had an adorable smile.
"Hi, I'm Frank, by the way. Ummm, so where were you guys headed in such a rush?" Frank asked, his anxiety was starting catch up with him, but he was determined to make friends...seeing that friends were a rare thing in his life and these two seemed both friendly & emo enough to actually like him.
"Well, Patrick kinda left his backpack, with all his school books and homework...at school," sighed Pete continuing to walk. "And just a block or two away from the school is a nice coffee place...we're going over there since we'll be in the neighborhood. Do you wanna join us, Frank?"
"Yeah, okay."

Mikey Way was sitting in a booth at the back of a mostly empty coffee shop across from his brother, who was doing homework & sipping a iced chai latte. Mikey had stuck to the simpler side of things & was drinking plain black coffee. Of course Mikey knew that an iced chai latte wasn't really all that complicated in the whole spectrum of caffeinated beverages, but it seemed like a mouthful to him.
Mikey was half way through his coffee, when Pete Wentz walked through the door. He didn't not like Pete, in fact it was the complete opposite...he had feelings for Pete. Evidently Pete did not have any feelings of the sort towards Mikey; seeing that he was in a steady relationship with none other that Patrick Stump. Who had walked in with Pete and was followed by a shorter (not that much shorter than Patrick) dark haired boy, whom Mikey hadn't seen before but was wearing the same school uniform as him, Pete and Patrick.
"Hi, Mikey! Mind if we join you and gerard!?" Came Pete's voice from the other side of the cafe.
"Yeah, sure, whatever...okay!" Came Mikey's reply. Mikey sighed, he felt like Pete was playing with his emotions, even though Pete had absolutely no idea how Mikey felt for him. Mikey knew Pete was just being friendly, but it still hurt him.
"You, okay?" Asked Gerard. "You've seemed a bit off lately. Actually you've seemed a bit off since Pete and Patrick started dating, which would be last June. You and Patrick also seem a lot less close, is everything going fine with you and your friends?"
"Everything's fine Gerard, besides what do you know about friends!? Also stop mothering me!" Mikey Exclaimed.
"I'm mothering you because our mother literally does not care about either of us!" Just as Gerard finished that sentence Pete, Patrick and the other guy approached the booth.
