For the first time in forever, Osano found himself not brutally awakened by Hanako or anyone else that wasn't supposed to be in his house at the crack of dawn. The curtains were drawn tightly, blocking any light from streaming in. Neither his room or desk light was on and, more importantly, the underclassman wasn't blasting music while doing homework at the last minute at his desk. Despite the stillness Osano couldn't say for sure if his room was completely empty, he felt someone was in here.
He hears faint muffled voices outside his door that floated up from downstairs and loud purring not too far away from his bed inside the room. An arm emerges from the cave of covers and moves across the top of the bed, searching for the familiar furry creature. "Shoga, I love you, but you purr like a motorboat and it's keeping me awake." The arm stops its search when Osano arches his back slightly, wedging the mystery round object further into his spine. With fatigue plaguing his mind, Osano yawns and dismisses it to be Shoga, tightening the covers around himself. "Quiet down...daddy's trying to sleep." Sleep was starting to take him over and fully consume him until a voice shattered the spell.
"Y-Your cat is very cuddly."
Osano's eyes slowly cracked open, he knew it was too good to be true. Too good to be true. He was never going to get any sleep around here, in his own damn house in his own damn room in his own damn bed. The orange haired boy emerges from the covers and sits up, whipping around until his glare lands on the source of the voice. Oko was sitting at his desk chair, like he belonged there, giving small strokes and scratches to Shoga wrapped around his neck, delightfully purring at the affection from the occult leader. "What...the fuck..are you doing in my room?"
"I-I was, um..." Oko stammers, "I-It was too loud downstairs and I wanted to find a q-quiet place. I followed Shoga," Shoga meows at the mention, "B-Because cats know the best quiet places. S-She came here and--"
"And you decided to sit in my room in the dark and watch me sleep like a creep while you evilly stroke my cat?"
"I-I wasn't watching you sleep, that would be weird."
"You say that like you aren't weird already. Matter of fact, all you bakas are weirdos." Osano throws the covers off himself, "Weirdos that won't let me get any slee--" Osano stops mid-rant at the sight of the mystery object that was pushing into his back and he wondered how he could've mistaken it for his cat. There was a small bundle of dried herbs and a couple of tightly packed cheese cloth balls. Osano holds one up and blankly stares at it before calmly asking, "Oko, what is this?"
It wasn't a matter of 'if' Oko did this, Osano knew Oko did it; And he was right, Oko was very careful when he was sliding those into Osano's bed as the slightest sound or movement could wake him. "Oh, i-it's only salt, rosemary, sage, and thyme. They're commonly used to ward off e-evil spirits. From what Hanako told me, he says you're quite the d-demon in the morn--" Oko only had a split second to dive to the floor and narrowly avoid the salted projectile that almost took off his head (or at least a blackeye if Osano's aim was good and his aim was good on a daily basis. Really good)--It hits the wall with a nice 'thump'. Shoga hisses, not appreciating being suddenly thrown to the floor one bit, and scurries out the room to find another quiet, still place.
Widened purple eyes remained trained on the wall freshly bruised by a small dent (terrifyingly good aim). Oko draws his eyes back to the orange haired boy swinging his legs out of bed and mumbling, "Can't sleep, can't eat, can't live, can't die without someone interrupting. What the fuck?" He stalks towards the door and swings it open without a care and stomps out the room towards the bathroom. Since he's up now he might as well start his day, even if it was against his will and he wasn't due to be awake for another hour. Oko lets go of the breath he unintentionally was holding, he could've died there. Who knows what powers Osano could've unleashed on him.
