Too Perfect

Twenty-Seven

One year and a half later...

No ones P.O.V

Mark, Jaehyun and Taeyong were all having their Friday movie night in their matching pajamas. They were all bunched up in a pillow fort they had made earlier. Mark suddenly wiggled out of the two’s grasp, pausing the TV.

“Mark, what’s wrong?” Taeyong asked worried. 

“I have something very serious to tell you” he stood up to look at both of his parents. 

“What is it?” Jaehyun asked. 

Mark took a deep breath before answering. 

“Me and Haechan are getting married !” he blushed.

“You and Haechan are what?” Taeyong stood up.

Mark frowned at his papas shocked tone. Jaehyun sat Taeyong back down smiling. 

“What your Papa meant to say is that’s wonderful Mark”.

Mark smiles. 

“When are you two planning on getting married?”

“In this many days” Mark held up three fingers.

“Why so soon?” Taeyong asked.

“Haechans is going to summer camp soon, so we wanted to do it before he leaves”.

Taeyong couldn’t believe what was happening. Jaehyun smiled and hugged them both. 

“Guess we have a wedding to plan”.

Taeyong, Mark and Johnny we’re out shopping for the kids engagement ring, well engagement bracelet. Taeyong didn’t want to buy them a ring until they were older. Jaehyun, Doyoung and Jungwoo were helping Haechan find something to wear. 

Johnny moved down to Marks level. 

“Now, Mark I love Haechan like he’s my own son, so don’t break his heart” he said jokingly.

“Of course uncle Johnny. If I broke Haechan’s heart, my heart would break too”.

Johnny and Taeyong both cooed at Mark. Johnny went over to look at another box of jewelry. 

“So, Markie what made you want to marry Haechan?”

“You told me that people that are in love marry each other”.

“Do you love Haechan?” he smiled.

“Yes, very much” Mark puts his hand over his chest, “Everytime I’m with him my heart beats super fast, and I really like seeing him smile and happy” he smiled up at his papa.

Taeyong hugged him and covered his face in kisses.

“My baby is so cute, I don’t want you to get married yet”.

“You already agreed to it!” he pouted.

Jaehyun and Taeyong were finishing up the kids' wedding preparations. They were doing it in their backyard. It was big enough for everyone. They were hanging up streamers. 

“I can’t believe my son is getting married before me” Taeyong whines.

“Don’t worry you’ll be Mr. Jung soon enough” Jaehyun chuckled.

Jaehyun had proposed to Taeyong a few months ago. They went back to the resort that they had pretended to be a couple and Jaehyun proposed after a romantic night on the beach. 

Taeyong stopped hanging the streamers and walked up to him smiling playfully. He wrapped his arms around his waist and placed his chin on Jaehyuns chest looking up at him. 

“And why do I have to take your last name, I think Jaehyun Lee~ has a nice ring to it”. 

Jaehyun smiles and cups Taeyongs cheeks, pulling him into a sweet and tender kiss. 

“I’m fine with any last name, as long as I’m with you”. 

“There you go being all cheesy again” he slapped his chest.

He tries to push Jaehyun away from him to hide the blush on his face, but Jaehyun grabbed his chin and made him stare into his eyes. 

“I love you,” Jaehyun said earnestly. 

No matter how many times he said it Taeyongs heart couldn’t help but become weak at the three words. 

“I love you too”.

The wedding services started, it was just immediate friends and family, it felt like a huge get together rather than a wedding. Mark was standing in front in a little tux. Jaehyun was his best man along with Jeno. Since the wedding isn’t a serious thing, Taeyong was acting as the priest to “marry” the two. 

After a short while Taeil started playing the piano. Renjun came out, he was the flower boy, everyone awed at how precious he looked. Haechan soon followed behind him with Johnny holding his hand. Taeyong was a little surprised to see Haechan wearing a dress. He looked so cute with his white, yellow dress and little hair pins in his hair.

“Wow Haechan you look so pretty!” Mark said loudly.

“Thank you” he blushes.

Taeyong starts the service, making up things as he talks. 

“Haechan Lee, do you take Mark Lee as your partner, to give watermelon too and hugs forever and ever?” 

“I do,” he said excitedly. 

“And do you Mark Lee, take Haechan Lee as your partner, to be his best friend forever and never make him cry?”

“I do” he smiled.

Everyone couldn’t help but smile at how cute and innocent they were. Jaehyun grins and hands Mark the bracelets he picked out. Mark wraps it around Haechans wrist. 

“For now, this will be a symbol that we are married,” he whispered to Haechan. 

“I love it”.

“I now pronounce you two cuties officially married, you may now kiss” Taeyong jokes.

Mark scrunched his nose at the word kiss but then quickly pecked his cheek. Haechan then surprised everyone by giving Mark a quick peck on the lips. 

“Haechan!” Doyoung gasped from the seats.

Haechan just giggled and hugged Mark. 

Taeyong looked next to him and saw Jaehyun staring at him. He smiled happily, Jaehyun moved closer towards him to whisper in his ear. 

“We’re next”.

Taeyong nodded and placed a kiss on his cheek. 

“Definitely”.
