Ten Year Time Skip
Izuku Midoriya was sitting in class listening to music that was suggested by one of his best friends, Kyoka Jiro. She had gotten him into rock music over the years and he has honestly really enjoyed it. They gotten very close after he realized what she and a his other female friends meant to him. Izuku still can't wrap his mind around the information of them being his mates. Like really who would be able to process the fact that three of your best friends and some people that you have never met are meant to be with you for the rest of your life!! He hasn't told them yet and he had asked his friends' mothers to not tell them. They haven't so far however they did tease them all to no end.
This would always lead to major issues between the group, especially when he told Katsuki about what their friends meant to him. Katsuki did not take the news well. He always saw relationships as weak. When they were around twelve years old, Izuku told his best friend about his predicament.
Two years ago
Katsuki and Izuku were walking around town after training at Ryuko's house. After Ryoku had became a hero, she had bought a house with a large yard to help herself in her dragon form should her house ever come under attack from villains that were out of the revenge. Now the two boys were walking down the streets and heading home after some rough training that they were doing to help with the entrance exams for their dream school in a few years.
"Hey, Katsuki, can I tell you something? It has to do with my quirk," Izuku said stopping in his tracks looking at the sunset.
"Sure, Zuku. What's up?" Katsuki asked with a some concern. "Is it weakened or something?"
"No, no, it's not that. It's kinda embarrassing, but you deserve to know this as you are my best friend," Izuku looked at him with solemn eyes.
'What the hell could he have to tell me?' Katsuki thought.
"Okay now you are starting to worry me," Katsuki had no idea what to think.
"It's nothing to worry about in that sense, but it has something to do with my quirk's instincts," Izuku was rubbing the back of his head. "Have you ever noticed my crown on my dragon form?"
"Yeah, I was going to ask you about that at some point. What about it?" Katsuki asked curiously.
"Well, I had never brought it up before, but I never knew the real reason till a couple days ago," Izuku had looked over at the beach they had cleared up a few months ago to train their bodies.
"What do you mean real reason? Is it not just for decoration? Or pride?" Katsuki was extremely confused about where this conversation was going.
"No that's what I thought too, but my father had came home last week to explain some things about my quirk for when I hit puberty," Izuku looked at his friend expecting some sort of laughter which came.
"What? Don't tell me you have some sort of heat cycle?!" Katsuki had just barely able to get this sentence out of his mouth.
"Worse, I have to mate with all of my mates for it to be fully unlocked," Izuku looked over his friend who had at this point stopped laughing, but he had a scowl painting over his face.
"So you mean to tell me that you have this awesome quirk, but you need someone else's help to get the full power! AND YOU"VE BEEN HOLDING BACK ON ME THIS ENTIRE TIME!!!!" Katsuki at this point was pissed and had set off an explosion into Izuku's face.
Izuku was stunned at this turn of this events. He had no idea how to react to this anger that was coming from his friend. He had hoped that this would only be a one time thing but over time Katsuki would distance himself and push Izuku further and further away. Katsuki had felt betrayed and turned away from Izuku's friend group. Jiro, Kendo, and Toga would question Izuku about this change in events, but he would give no answer to the question because that would cause some discomfort amongst them.
