Finding the Peridot Key

Izuku, All Might, and Hisashi were on there way to the air port with permission slips to get onto I-Island. Kyoka, Kendo, and Himiko wanted to come with them, but Inko bribed them with food and embarrassing stories of Izuku to get them to stay behind. Izuku wasn't happy about the embarrassing story telling, but he also knew that he would have to leave them for missions when they became heroes so he saw this trip as some type of test of their connection. 

Izuku's dragon instincts got stronger and stronger as they flew toward the moving island. He began to grow impatient and angry as time passed. This development didn't go unnoticed by his father, who had been trying to determine what would be unlocked next for his son. The best conclusion he could think of would be his ability to talk in his dragon form, which Izuku hasn't done since he was eight. All Might, however, was growing anxious as they neared their destination. He hadn't seen David in years, and the same for his daughter. Now, he was showing up out of the blue and delivering some knowledge that should have been hidden from them. This could bring so much peril to their lives, and there is the possibility to disrupt their entire way of living if Melissa accepted his offer. Honestly though, he doubted she would sense she came to terms with her quirklessness years ago.

"Hizashi, what's going on with your son? He seems restless," Toshinori looked at his friend before turning his head to the boy in question.

"Apparently, whatever is locked away under this lock is powerful enough to override his train of thought. I was thinking it was is ability to speak in his dragon form, but now, I'm not so sure. Maybe, it's his full form or a new evolution of his power. I've suspected he'd be able to use different elements to change his fire. I was able to when I found Inko, so maybe that ability is hidden under this lock."

"He really is an example of the singularity theory. How did you know who not find Izuku before I dealt with him?" Toshinori's face change into a scowl at the mention of his once arch-enemy.

"No clue. Maybe he thought of the limitations that would be in his place because of the mating side of this quirk. He never would have been able to overcome that obstacle. It's so intergraded in the quirk that if he were to try to take only a portion it would be so limited by the mating limiters that he might as well have not taken anything at all," Hisashi explained further upon the running limitation that can occur with the mating limits. Some of which included personality, intelligence of both human and dragon form, the five senses, and power of the overall quirk itself.

Toshinori had looked at the man in front of him in astonishment at the limitations that are not only on his son, but what could have been on others with similar quirks. After listening to the explanation, Toshinori looked out the window to see the island with his possible successor on it. Izuku was growling non stop at this point. He wanted, no, needed his new mate for some part of his quirk that was unknown to him. His inner dragon was churning out of control in his mind. Izuku was starting to get a headache from his instinctual restlessness, and it was growing stronger and stronger by the minute as they slowed to stop on the air strip. 

The moment that the door touched the ground, Izuku had shot out and started sniffing around for his mate. He couldn't find scent of his to be lover and grew more restless before his dad shot him with a tranquilizer dart. All Might was surprised by this action, and before he could question it, Hisashi turns to him.

"Quirk insanity tends to happen when animalistic type quirks get in mating season. I feared with would be what was unlocked. Melissa is sixteen so she'd be closer to adulthood than the others drawing this side out."

"So he never had a problem like this before?" Hisashi just nodded in response. "Then why have those tranquilizer darts on you?"

"Because I had to do this with Ryuko back when she was still a kid. Hell there were times when I had save Eraser from her."
