Away in Dreamland (Kirby fanfiction)

Haltmann's defeat..

" Well, as my Guinea pigs, you will have to undergo some experiments." Shaking their heads, they refused to 'behave'.
"Well then, I'll have to punish you for your misbehaviour." He cackled, producing a device from his pocket.

What happened to them?

Are you that incredibly curious, (Y/n)?

I'll tell you, they were shocked badly.

It was quite a shock for them.

They were estatic.

Anyway, back with you and Becca now.

"We completely totalled that security bit back there, gotta say I am proud!" Becca complimented. Being brutally honest, she she was immensely surprised by the sheer power the small puffball had.

They had found the Queen's croquet grounds, where she would play her bizarre version of croquet. Everything was fine until President Haltmann had to show himself. "Welcome, welcome. I have some things to introduce you to. Using the blueprints that my ex- secretary gave me, I made these. Unstoppable! Vile! Ruthless! Truly, heartless creatures who obey me and me only." Haltmann bragged, proudly.
Astonished, they came to the realization that the robots were their friends. (Y/n) said their names but to no response. "Ta ta now!"

All three of the bots had been activated and they looked blood-thirsty.
"We..we can talk about this..!" Becca nervously offered. On the other hand, (Y/n) wasn't tolerating what was going on. Drawing a weapon of their own, they reduced the robots to scraps. "Wake up! Wake up!" They urged them. Snapping out of it, they came back to consciousness. "Wh...what happened?" Bandana Waddle Dee asked.
Kirby got up," We should've listened to you, Becca." Kirby apologised.
"Now's not an 'I told you so' moment. We have to move.." Becca commanded. (Y/n) saw Meta Knight's top hat on the floor. "Do you want this back?" They asked him.
"Sure, why not." He said, putting it back on.
(Y/n) smiled, he did look nice wearing it.
"It's time to teach him a lesson." Becca grunted, punching her other hand with her fist.
"Yeah, it wasn't very fair. He was so horrible to Kirby, Bandana Dee and-"
"META KNIGHT!!!" Galacta Knight shouted, throwing his arms around Meta Knight. "I was so worried!"
Chuckling, he reassured him that he was fine. Puffing and panting, an out of breath Dedede followed. "He's... he's too fast-" He breathlessly told them.
"We need to keep moving! Now!" Becca raised her voice so it was the loudest.
"We should keep on going!" (Y/n) stated.

Now, the group was back together again, with an undying grudge against Haltmann. What he did was inexcusable. Carrying on through Wonderland, they admired the scenery; stood tall were incredibly huge flowers of all colours. There were butterflies and squirrels and bees. "Hah! Long time no see Galacta Knight. I see you made up with Meta Knight?" A voice humourously laughed. Nobody knew where it came from or whose it was. Other than Galacta Knight, of course. "Morpho Knight?" He gasped.
"The one and only.." he snickered.
The butterfly warrior emerged from his hiding spot. "Nice to see you two again, however we have business to crack down to. That Haltmann jerk-" He complained.
"We already know, that's why we are where we are now." Meta Knight barged into the conversation.
"Oh, alright. Mind if I join? I've got a bit of a grudge against himself." He groaned.
"Sure, we welcome anyone to join us. Even more power, which is useful." Becca chimed in.
(Y/n) looked at the newcomer with great interest, they'd never seen him before. Noticing (Y/n) was observing him with great interest, he introduced himself to them. "I'm Morpho Knight, you can call me Morpho for short, I don't mind." He informed, holding his hand out for a handshake. Graciously, (Y/n) shook his gloved hand and introduced themself. "I'm (Y/n), nice to meet you."

"HOW MANY KNIGHTS ARE THERE?!?!" Dedede raged.
Comforting him, Bandana Waddle Dee and Kirby assured him there weren't anymore. Now I want to throw in Dark Meta Knight just to annoy him.
"DON'T YOU DARE!" Dedede shouted.
No, I'll add him later, once you've adjusted to Morpho Knight. Also, I think I'll make it so Dark Meta Knight tries to steal Galacta Knight.
"Why are you telling me this?" Dedede asked, curiously.
Well, I'm not sure, Dedede. Just, don't rat me out.
"Oh my Nova, I'm getting voices in my head. I'll need help after this." Dedede grumbled. Patting him on the back, Kirby assured him he was fine. Little do they know it's just the narrator being a prick.

Well, let's carry on.

The battle started before they had even realized. Whilst walking on a seemingly average patch of grass, the secret platform it was on lifted. "What's going on?!" Dedede shrieked. The Knight Bois readied themselves for a battle. Becca and (Y/n) observed the others and checked on them to make sure they were ok. Dedede, Kirby and Bandana Waddle Dee banded together and prepped for something else extraordinary to happen. Nothing did, of course. Just Haltmann harassing them. "Uahahahahah!" He cackled. "I've mechanized this measly place, now to move onto your pathetic planet!"

"Not so fast, fiend!" Becca screamed, pointing at him directly. "We're here to stop you.
With a final roar of laughter, he challenged her, foolishly.
Noticing Morpho Knight, he backed up a bit, cowering behind his robotic assistants. "Y...you. I remember you. Truly, you are a skilled swordsman. Stay back or I'll be forced to forcefully remove you."
"Heh, I'd like to see you try, old man." He sniggered, cockily.
"Attack them! Finish them! End them!" He commanded, madly waving his arms around like a maniac.
Without a doubt, he was fighting a losing battle. Meta Knight drew Galaxia, Galacta Knight drew his lance, Morpho Knight drew his sword and (Y/n) drew their weapon. Reaching into the endless pockets of his royal robes, Dedede pulled out his mask and put it on, then he drew his mallet. Adjusting his Bandana, Bandana Waddle Dee produced his spear from behind his back. Kirby inhaled a spark that one of the robots emitted and became spark Kirby. While everyone readied themselves, Becca snuck off of the battlefield and clambered to the underside of the platform and broke into the electricity box. Playing around with the wires, she accidentally managed to make the platform ascend even higher. Then, the battle begun with the robobots. Sparks flew, sword beams were shot, metal clanked, robots were destroyed.

"Impossible! You wild savages ALL OF YOU!! THE LOT OF YOU ARE WILD SAVAGES! YOU NEED TO BE TAUGHT YOUR PLACE!!" He shouted, furiously pounding the buttons on his robotic mech. "I'LL BE THE ONE TO TEACH YOU YOUR LESSONS!!"
Furiously, he lunged forwards with his robotic suit working as armour. Cash covered the floor as if it were a carpet. The team chipped at the gold, as nuggets hit the floor, littering it like expensive garbage. All of the diamonds used to encrust the mech crashed to the floor with a heavy clink.

Incredibly tired, Haltmann waved his hand trying to gesture a truce. "You've had enough second chances, pal. You've not learnt your lesson, that being to not ruin other people's planets!" Becca scolded, trying to sound as intimidatingly terrifying as possible.
"You shouldn't go around destroying people's planets, people live on those!" Kirby shouted.
"And the amount of mental trauma you've left, unacceptable!" Bandana Waddle Dee yelled, as he looked over to Meta Knight.
Indeed, he was right.
Everything he did had no purpose and was only for his selfish benefits.

Teaming together, they used one last attack each, attacking simultaneously, completely finishing him off.

"We did it! We saved the planet!" Becca cheered.
"I'm glad. The old geezer's been terrorising planets for god knows how long." Morpho Knight cheered.
"Welp, it's over now." Dedede grinned.
"That's the end of him!" Bandana Waddle Dee said.
"He's gone for good!" Kirby smiled.
"Well, that's punishment for being so vile." Meta Knight muttered under his breath.

Actually, it is over.
Well, the battle with Haltmann was at least. No, no. It's not the end of the story just yet, it's not even the end of this chapter yet!

"How will we get home though?" Kirby confusedly questioned.
"Watch." Galacta Knight smirked, opening a portal back to Dreamland.

As they stepped through, they felt a sense of relief; this whole crazy fiasco could be set aside and they could rest that night knowing they ended it. Could it be that it was drawing to a close? It wasn't over though, it wouldn't end so soon. All the new friends they'd made, all of the places they'd seen...it wasn't the end of their adventures yet. They were sure there would be many new allies to meet and more foes to fight, along with many different foods to eat, new attacks to learn and new sights to see. In their hearts, they knew that just because their battle with Haltmann had finished....

didn't mean that they were finished.
