GAWD DAYUM <33 —• y/n's pov: "challenge accepted" she whispered. she slowly lifted herself off of you and sat on the edge of the bed again. you watched the first bit of sunlight peek through the windows coat hange's tan skin in a warm orange glow. her features were uniquely beautiful.
she begins to button up her shirt before turning back to you and telling you with a bright smile that matched the sunlight, "good morning~ are you not going to get up?"
you just stare back at her in wonder and confusion,, "ah yeah.."
"no good morning?"
"good morning," you say. "sorry i'm kinda out of it, i guess.."
her expression dropped. "is there something wrong..?"
you didn't want to make her sad but you didn't want to lie to her and make her worry even more. you quickly and as calmly as possible sit up, grab your clothes and walk out of the room.
the second you closer the door, you let a sigh out, but halted as soon as you realized the walls weren't very thick around here. then you ran back into your room.
shoving your face in your pillow, you decide whether to scream or to cry, you enjoyed your night with hange, yet, now that it was over, you didn't know how to feel.

you sit up and put your clothes back on properly. you decided just to wait it out. you decide to head down and eat breakfast.
upon arriving, you realize you didn't know where to sit. the section commander was already sat near the middle of the room. you decided to go to the people who had the highest chances of cheering you up, sasha and connie of course.
"y/n!! we haven't seen you in soooo long! we can finally feast together again!"
✿ (skip to after dinner; same day)
you're returning to your room when you feel a hand on your shoulder. "are you avoiding me? why are you avoiding me?", you hear.
"i'm not."
"i need to talk to you about something."
"something?"
"yeah, things i found about ragako, and some other things." she told you.
you found yourself in her room again, all the memories from last night flooding in. your face glows red until you let her ramble on about her findings. it's not that they weren't interesting, just not interesting compared to the things you've done with her before.
"are you paying attention?" she says, getting close to your face. after you don't respond, she says, "naughty girl~"
with that you gasp a little before she presses a finger on your lips like she did last night.
"you have to pay attention, ok?" she kisses your neck softly and continues to talk about her titan discoveries.
despite all the interesting information incoming, all you could do was look at her face, her body that you were so close to the night before but now was almost untouchable. you felt like there was a rift between the two of you but maybe it was one sided.
"so, that's what i discovered."
shit she's already done talking.
you caught some of the main points but you felt bad that you weren't actually listening to her.
"i made it a priority to tell you first but we have to go talk to levi's squad because this is really important. you're coming too, though."

"pastor nick was killed by the military police?"
"yeah."
suddenly nifa brings a letter frown erwin and upon reading it, levi orders everyone to leave the cabin with no trace. you're to go with captain levi's squad with the rest of hange's squad, under her orders.
"wait why?" you ask.
all you wanted was to be by her side, and fight by her side.
in an attempt to comfort you she says, "they need your skills. well meet up soon enough, ok?"
you were dissatisfied and it clearly showed on your face because hange then leaned close to you, placed her brooch in your hand and whispered,
「 "for you, my love" 」
