Missing You

*hello again folks! Well, um, sorry for not updating regularly cuz college gets me packed every now and then. If you like the stuff I'm writing comment down below. It really boosts my spirits XD. Did you watch s2? I thought the last ep was good... (I only liked the slideshow tbh xd). And if you're a Manga reader, read the epilogue that got translated a few days ago. It is fantastic XD. There are spoilers for the epilogue btw... Enjoy!

"do you really have to go?" Emma shrugged as she saw Ray packing his stuff.

"I told you already, I have to be the one going. We have to introduce our company to the other countries. Norman and Vincent can't go since they got packed with work recently" Ray replied, he took the last clothing he planned to take in his bag.

Emma pouted and looked to the side. She didn't like it when a member of her family leaves. Especially the ones precious to her, and talking about Ray, he always took a big room in her heart.

"plus, it's a 1 month trip. No need to worry... We can contact each other too with the thing called technology". Ray continued now looking at her and smirking as he came closer. Emma didn't know much about technology since she lived in a simple home with Mr. Alex. Her eyes furrowed.

"I get it already..." Emma said simply because she sensed him teasing her since she didn't know a lot.

"Dinner is ready!" Phil interrupted, holding a bell in his hand, smiling at the couple ahead of him.

"let's get going!" Ray took Emma out of her thoughts so they would go and eat with the reat of their family.

The dinner went without anyone talking about Ray's trip. Maybe because they got used to splitting up every now and then. Only Norman discussed Ray's trip and Emma heard that the flight is going to be tommorow in the afternoon. Norman finished his talking with a "good luck" and Ray returned it. Emma looked down as she got lost in her world, a whole month without Ray, how about the cooking they used to do together when their shift comes. And their fun time when reading books or playing games.

"yooooow" Ray smacked Emma's head lightly with a glass of water he just grabbed. Emma jolted as she rubbed her head in return, and before she could say anything Ray continued "you haven't eaten anything from your plate, snap out of it already" Ray resumed eating as Emma looked at her full plate she didn't pay attention to.

Time passed quickly and the next day arrived. Ray had to go to the airport and everyone was giving him goodbyes and some gave him some hugs. It was decided that 2 of the group would go see him off since all the family going would be a huge hassle.

Emma, of course, volunteered with Phil. Thus her goodbye is for later.

"Don't forget to bring us souvenirs!" Phil said as they got into the train. Ray chuckled and pat Phil's head.

"souvenirs for 36 people? I don't think they'll fit in my small bag" Ray's response made everyone giggle. He noticed that Emma was looking down the whole time, her giggle was also silent.

"have a safe trip!" Phil hugged Ray happily as they made a handshake they made up. They both were now looking at the silent Emma staring at Ray.

Emma silently hugged Ray and said in a low voice "have a safe trip". Ray looked at her state, he leaned and rubbed her back. She buried herself in his chest as if she wanted him to not see her face. He can feel her stiffening as if she was about to cry.

"why are you being gloomy idiot, wish me luck instead" Ray's hand patted Emma's head and she loosened her grip on him. He smiled at her and it was like his smile was gesture telling her to stay strong and don't cry.

"I'm sorry..." Emma looked down, but her response made Ray chuckle.

"idiots are idiots after all" he teased her and she smiled at least. Suddenly she felt something covering up her neck.

"here!" Ray took the scarf he was always wearing and rolled it on her neck.

"Don't you dare lose it, okay?" despite Emma nodding, she took a glance at Ray's numbers. Since he always wear his scarf, their sight was a rarity. She unexpectedly felt at ease and hugged him again. "stay safe and eat well okay? Don't forget to contact us every now and then".

"Kay" Ray smiled at her sweetness. He felt loved and cared as she hugged him tighter. His response as well boosted her spirit as it reminded her that she is the big sister in their family.

Finally Ray got on the plane and the one's that were escorting him waved their hands at him. Though someone was missing him already they went back to their house only waiting for a response from him once he reaches his destination.

Emma got a little gloomy at the rest of the day. She was supposed to be cooking dinner with Ray today and she was doing it with Gilda. But once she went to the bed she hugged Ray's scarf. It's scent putting her at ease as she smiled and drifted to sleep.
