Our Kind Emma Part2

As Emma, Ray, and Sonju were heading back to the cave to everyone. Emma felt something wrong with Ray, his breathing is not good and his eyes were far more tired than they were always be as they reached the cave.

-Emma where have you been?! - mujica said with concern. - Why do you run in the middle of the night, that was dangerous! -.

Emma tilted her head down - I heard a scream, so... -.

-oh that scream the kid screamed, although it was dangerous either way, your scream got the wild demons' attention be careful next time-.
Sonju said with his arms folded.

-I'm sorry, by the way, Ray was something wrong?....
Ray? -
Ray was staring at Emma's face - you've got a scar on your cheek- Ray said as he came towards her.

-oh really, you're right, it's a scratch no big deal... Are you okay?!- Emma said as her eyes widened because of him panting heavily.

"....", - I'm fine-e- Ray said as he collapsed on her which caused her to fall on the ground.

-w-wah, Ray?!- Emma shouted with concern.

-oh... uh... I-I'm sorry... I just- Ray mumbled as he fell unconscious.

-Ray?... Ray??!, Sonju what's wrong with him?!- Emma said with a voice like she's about to cry.

-oh, it must've been since he didn't get enough sleep, we ran into 4 wild demons yesterday-

-what! 4 demons! ... -

-yeah, very unusual, but don't worry, he's just exhausted, it was a long trip but we hunted many animals and there's a lot lot of food over there -

Emma tilted her head towards Ray as he was on her lap with sadness, she felt hurt... He looks really tired, he always work hard for the sake of his family.

-he'll be okay tomorrow, let's go to sleep, I'll carry hi-

-it's okay, I'll take care of him-

Emma took the blanket that was beside her and wrapped it around Ray's body and started to pat Ray's head while he was sleeping on her lap.
"it was tough for you, isn't it?" she mumbled as she smiled down at him with a her kind and caring eyes.

As Sonju and Musica went to sleep Emma wrapped another blanket around herself and rested her back on the cave's rough wall with a smile on her face as she plays with Ray's hair and bieng blessed with him snoring on her lap, as she slowly closed her eyes and fell asleep.

Dawn has arrived with a new day as Emma and ray woke up simultaneously.

"where am I?... Emma?" Ray opened his eyes.

"Good, he's awake and it sounds like he's better... I'm glad"

-wha-what am I doing on your lap?! - Ray said with awkwardness in his voice.
-tehee- Emma giggled as she answered - you collapsed on me last night-
-And why you sound like you liked it? Why didn't you let Sonju carry me to my bed? -.

-well, you were really exhausted that I didn't want you to move a bone, are you alright now? -.

-I'm fine- ray said as he thought " well I'm dead on the inside, I feel like a child, damn it".

He stood up and sighed but Emma suddenly hugged him tightly.
-wah, Emma, what are you-
-I'm glad, you're okay- Emma said with a kind voice as Ray eyes widened.
-it was tough isn't it, bieng on your own,I was worried, I wanted to make you feel better- Emma said with a cracking voice as she hugged him tighter.
Ray's heart was about to burst after hearing her words, they stood up hugging each other for a while the Ray broke the silence - I'm sorry, I made you worry... Come on, let's wake up our siblings and cook them some breakfast -.
Emma smiled and said with excitement - oh yeah... I missed your cooking-.

Then they let go of each other with both of them smiling widely as Emma grabs Ray's hand and ran - let's go Ray- with a sparkling smile on her face.

He was about to complain about bragging him suddenly but after she smiled he couldn't help but smile as well and let her be

"you little rabbit, we just woke up".
