Keep Your Room Tidy!

After playing tag with Emma for 2 years, Ray and everyone finally found her. They moved and lived close to her, they went to school and time passed so quickly.

-I'm going to work now- Ray told his family in a hurry. His colleagues depend on him, he's more like the boss there, he can't afford to waste his time.

- Uh, have a safe trip! - Emma said surprised since Ray's company called him before he could eat anything for breakfast.

Everyone looked at him go while continuing to eat their food. The food is usually prepared by him and some of the older ones, Emma liked to assist him because she wanted to gain more from his experience and improve her cooking skills so she can be more girly in everyone's eyes, or so she believed.

-And why aren't you working yet? - Emma giggled while putting a plate near Norman.

-I am underage.... The company needed workers that are 18 year old and plus... - Norman replied pouting at her giggling. He was being teased by Ray the moment Ray started working. They are only 3 months apart and he still think of the company's age restriction as nonsense.

-you decided to give the university another shot? - Gilda asked. The trio are geniuses after all, they entered university in a young age.

-hmmm, yeah. I'll study more and maybe I'll be Ray's boss one day- Norman said smiling while watching the others laughing at his point of view.

-Good luck! - Don patted his shoulder and continued eating his share.

The rule in the house was simple, "keep your room tidy". Everyone has separate rooms and it's up to them to keep it clean. It was different from the house they used to share. Mama used to let them clean together, but everyone grew up and got busy with their own business.

Yet one of them didn't follow the rule and made Emma always clean the room. Which is Ray.

-Ray, we need to talk about something - Emma said in a kinda bossy tone. She wasn't mad or anything but with her big sister nature she can't let bad manners enter the house and when the older ones don't follow the rule, the younger ones will not follow it either in the future.

-huh? - Ray said as he was cooped up in his colleagues' messages. Even on his break, the people he worked with needed his instructions.

-hey, are you listening? - Emma said as she saw Ray going for work again.

-I am, but please hurry- Ray replied wearing his black jacket while speaking.

-you're going already?! You haven't eaten lunch yet! -

-the deadline to the report we're making is tomorrow, it won't finish itself- Ray opened the door almost leaving.

-hey, listen to me!- Ray closed the door in a hurry and couldn't let Emma finish her sentence.

Emma got mad at this point. Even if he has work, isn't it his family he cherishes more? Emma pouted and went to have lunch with the others. She was planning to wait for Ray until he returns home.

-wow! his work is getting the best of him... - Nat said while sitting on the pianist seat.

-well, he's pretty good with machines and typing, so I guess he's perfect for the job- Don added pointing at a trophy.

-he got 3rd place worldwide- Anna giggled sitting on the table.

Emma finished eating lunch early and went to room to finish the school work she had. She was going smoothly with her homework so time would pass and Ray would come home finally.
