ᴬⁿᵈ ᵗʰᵉʳᵉ ᵃᵇᵒᵛᵉ ᵗʰᵉ ᵉⁿᵗⁱʳᵉ ʷᵒʳˡᵈ...ᴵ ᵗᵒᵒᵏ ᵗʰᵉⁱʳ ʰᵃⁿᵈˢ ᵃⁿᵈ ᵃᶜᶜᵉᵖᵗᵉᵈ ᵗʰᵉᵐ ᵃˢ ᵐⁱⁿᵉ

Alex sat in the backseat with his head pressed against the cold window, The drive was an hour so he had taken the time to nap a little. Karl was a little ball of energy, talking excitedly about how he couldn't wait to get on the ferris wheel and see all the lights. He had been surprised when Alex said he had never been on one. "When you get to the top it's like your staring down at little ants...sometimes if they have enough light they make the ground look all pretty!" He tried to explain. Nick laughed as he drove reaching to take Karl's hand, For a moment Alex just sat there waiting until nick turned to look at him for a moment "you don't wanna hold our hands?" he asked glancing at the road "What?" Alex asked "hold our hands!" Karl said still shaking with excitement. Alex smiled and rested his hand atop Nick's. 

     The lights almost blinded Alex as he was led into the carnival. He saw people talking ad laughing and eating. "Funnel cake!" Karl squealed excitedly as he rushed to buy some, he bit into one and groaned "So good!" he said. Alex made a face "It just looks like a fried french fry doused in flour" "no no now you HAVE to eat some!" Karl held out the half-eaten piece and fed it to Alex, who quickly agreed that it was very good. They rode on rides and ate all the junk food they could. Karl even took some photos and posted them online, he had been secretive with everyone they knew in fear of being judged for adding a third person to their relationship. "I'm tired of hiding the fact that i am in love with two of the most wonderful men in the world" Karl explained with a smile, reaching to squeeze Alex's hand. The throuple hurried through the place, laughing at the lights. yet, nick and karl couldn't stop staring at alex. He held fast to Nick's arm and karl's hand, his eyes widening in childish wonder as he looked around. He kept tugging on the boy's to point out things like roller coasters, bungee jumps, and other things he had never seen.Karl laughed as he led them to the last ride of their night...the ferris wheel.

 They had tipped the person who was working the wheel to allow all three on, thankfully it didn't take more than 10 dollars. they squeezed together, holding the rails. "ready Alex?" nick asked "yes..." the wheel started to move, Alex gasped and clutched the rail tighter. His knuckles turned white as they moved up to the top. He looked around his eyes widening, Karl's explanation didn't do it justice, it was so beautiful. He let out a cheer, slowly lifting his hands off of the rail. "Wooo!" he cheered "Pog!" Shouted nick smiling "honk!" karl chimed in. They continued to scream and shout, just as they reached the top the ride stopped. "This is so...amazing" Alex breathed. Karl and Nick reached for his hands. He hesitated before curling his fingers with theirs. The ride seemed to end too soon, though the boy's were thoroughly satisfied. They clutched hands all the way to their car. 

And that Night Alex didn't flinch when Nick and Karl wrapped their arms around him.
