ℂ𝕙𝕒𝕡𝕥𝕖𝕣 𝔽𝕠𝕣𝕥𝕪-𝔽𝕚𝕧𝕖: 𝕋𝕙𝕖 𝔼𝕟𝕕. 𝔸𝕟𝕕 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝔹𝕖𝕘𝕚𝕟𝕟𝕚𝕟𝕘

ᵀʰⁱˢ ⁱˢⁿ'ᵗ ᵗʰᵉ ᵉⁿᵈ...ⁿᵒᵗ ˢᵖᵉᶜⁱᶠⁱᶜᵃˡˡʸ. ʸᵉˢ ⁱᵗ ⁱˢ ᵗʰᵉ ᵉⁿᵈ ᵒᶠ ᵒⁿᵉ ˢᵗᵒʳʸ....ᵇᵘᵗ ⁱᵗ ⁱˢ ᵃˡˢᵒ ᵗʰᵉ ᵇᵉᵍⁱⁿⁿⁱⁿᵍ ᵒᶠ ᵃⁿᵒᵗʰᵉʳ.

Karl cuddled closer to Alex and Nick, comforted by their soft breathing. The babies had slept with them, so they were curled on Alex's chest fast asleep. Karl was awake, he knew he was awake, but he kept his eyes closed. Careful not to awaken his body. He didn't want to get up just yet, he wanted to savour this moment. To capture it and burn it into his memories. There was still so much to do, so much coming up. Alexis and Mateo were only babies now, but Karl knew how fast kids grew up. He knew that even though these children were not blood related to him..they were his. He had proven it the day he had agreed to take them in. He had seen Alex prove it, with the way he named Mateo, and he had seen Nick prove he could be a great dad, by the way he made sure to kiss Mateo and Alexis before he kissed Karl and Alex. He was putting the children first, as a parent should, and Karl didn't mind one bit. He was doing the same, and so was Alex. If it were life or death...no matter how hard the decision would seem, Karl knew for sure his husbands and himself would choose the children. No matter what. 

"Your awake?" Nick whispered. Karl startled for just a moment, and Alex shifted slightly before letting out a soft puff of breath before cuddling closer around the babies. "Yeah..." Karl whispered. He reached his hand across Alex and grabbed hold of Nick's. "Our babies are sleeping" He hummed "all three of them" Nick said with a smile. Alex always hated being referred to as "Their Baby" Even though he really was the baby of their little relationship, he was always the one tired after a late night of "fun" and usually ended up half-asleep in the tub. He was always being pampered, and he had daddy issues. What more would he need? Karl laughed at the thought as he leaned down and Kissed Alex's head. "He's a good dad already" Nick observed. They had taken endless amounts of photos with Alex and the twins. He always loved children, but it was different because Mateo and Alexis weren't just any kids, they were his, they were theirs, and they were special. "I wonder what's gonna happen next..." Nick wondered "well...We're starting the next chapter of our lives..." Karl hummed as Alex slowly woke up. "I don't want this one to end" Nick said softly kissing Alex's forehead. "Mm..Next chapter holds new adventures Mi amor" Alex said softly as he slowly nudged away from the babies to kiss his husbands. True, Their next chapter held many new adventures, this time...not only for Karl Alex and Nick...but For Dallas Mateo and Alexis.
