ℂ𝕙𝕒𝕡𝕥𝕖𝕣 𝕥𝕙𝕚𝕣𝕥𝕪-𝕊𝕚𝕩: 𝕎𝕙𝕒𝕥 𝕕𝕚𝕕 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕕𝕠?

ᵀʰᵉ ˢʰᵃᵗᵗᵉʳⁱⁿᵍ ᵒᶠ ᵗʰᵉⁱʳ ʰᵉᵃʳᵗˢ ʷᵉʳᵉ ᵗʰᵉ ˡᵒᵘᵈᵉˢᵗ qᵘⁱᵉᵗ ᵉᵛᵉʳ ʰᵉᵃʳᵈ

The door opened around 4am and in less then a minute Alex and Karl had dragged themselves out of bed and rushed to the front door. They didn't greet him with hugs or kisses or worried scolding. Instead they stared at him, and he knew they knew. "Nick" Karl spoke, he had grabbed Alex's hand and squeezed it. Nick didn't want to lie, so he didn't speak. "Why-" Karl cut himself off, unable to ask the weighted question. Alex started to cry. "Why were you with..her?" He asked shoulders shaking "I'm sorry" Nick finally said, bowing his head in shame. "Oh my god..." Karl covered his mouth, eyes brimming with tears, he couldn't process this anymore. He turned, letting go of Alex's hands to run them through his hair as he paced. "Karl-" "No. No you don't get to say my name" karl hissed angrily. "How could you? I mean...after all we've been through these past few fucking years?" Alex hissed, rage flowing through him. He hardly cussed at them. "I was so used to Schlatt doing that to me...running off to cheat. When I said yes to this relationship I believed you wouldn't cheat. I believed your stupid fucking lies" Alex was shaking, trying to keep himself from slapping Nick. "How many times Nick?" Karl asked "How many times were you with her?" "Only once I swear..I was drunk please-" Alex rushed over and punched him in the face, square in the nose.

"FUCK YOU!" he sobbed reaching again to shove him. Nick didn't fight back, only cursed as he held his bleeding nose. "Alex!" Karl rushed over and grabbed Alex who was repeatedly hitting Nick, Alex kicked him one last time before Karl dragged him away "We fucking trusted you!" Alex yanked away from Karl and stormed to their room. Karl looked at Nick with hurt in his eyes as he shook his head "...You'll sleep on the couch for now Nick" he said softly "Please...I promise Karl I was drunk and I wasn't thinking straight-" "Yes but so was Schlatt...." Nick froze. "I'm nothing like Schlatt-" "Just give us time okay?...this isn't just one of your little mistakes Nick. You messed up big time. And you hurt not only us...but this relationship" Nick started to cry, but Karl didn't move to comfort him. Instead he walked away, to the room were Alex lay curled up into a ball sobbing. He crawled beside him and wrapped his arms around him, kissing his forehead. 

"Was it our fault? Were we not enough?" Alex whispered "No..No no he loves us mi amor. It's just...he made a mistake" Alex started to pull away "Alex. I'm not saying I forgive him. I'm saying he was drunk. Let's just give it some time okay?" "Everytime I think about it Karl...I think about him" Karl kissed Alex again "I know, but Nick isn't Schlatt. Do you really want to break off this relationship based off of one time? I mean..we've been with Nick for three years and never once has he cheated-" "That we know of! What if he was hooking up with her behind our backs?" Karl shook his head, confident. "He can't lie...not to us. I know this for a fact Alex. You don't have to trust him...but you have to trust me" Alex hesitated before curling closer to his husband "I trust you..." he breathed. They fell asleep fairly quick, while Nick stayed awake unable to sleep without his husbands at his side curled close to him.
