Chapter 12

Soon after all of the classes were done for the day, it was now once again time for the various groups of students to go to their evening After-School clubs.

Some of which included Bugs and Daffy as they both entered the gym together and sat next to each other on the bleachers while they wait for their coach to arrive to the club.

"So Bugs, you ready for a grand ole tour of the club?" Daffy asked smiling.

"Sure, as long as I can challenge you to a couple games myself" Bugs said with a smirk.

"You're on" Daffy said as he pumped fists with him.

Futoshi (Foghorn Leghorn) then finally arrived along with the rest of the members of the club whom all sat on bleachers.

The couch, who was in an irritated mood, tried to keep a positive face while he checks the attendance.

After everyone's names were called, he began his announcement.

"Good evening everyone. Sorry for the long haul, but I just have a couple of things that I want to say to y'all before we get started on our daily routines. First off, I wanna congratulate you on what a wonderful job you kids have been doing during all your practices. You've all so worked hard and I'm proud of you, so keep up the good work. Second, our annual summer sport camps will coming up soon so if y'all want to sign up for another season, you have until the end of May to do so. And now with that all being said, lets... play ball!" Futoshi yelled out in a joking baseball tone as the all of the members except Bugs and Daffy disperse to their positions.

"So what exactly do we do first?" Bugs asked, a little confused at the whole thing.

"We pick a sport to play and we just simply practice around with it." Daffy explains.

"That's it?" Bugs asked, puzzled.

"Well... I mean we juggle around with all of them anyways, until we find the right one and then we can do a real try out for the season that they're available on." Daffy informs.

"Well what kind of sports do you guys have here?" Bugs asked.

"We have basketball, football (soccer), tennis, swimming, golf..." Daffy continued to list until he was interrupted.

"Lets go with basketball first." Bugs answered.

"Why? So you can show off your moves again?" Daffy asked with a smirk.

"No, so I can do a couple of rounds of shooting hoops with you." Bugs said, smiling.

Daffy all of a sudden begin to blush profusely, his face almost red.

"Oh um, sure. I'm all for it." Daffy said, in a little nervous tone.

"Great! lets get some basketballs from the cart then." Bugs said as they walked off of the bleachers and went the supplies area to grab a few balls.

The two played head to head as they each took turns shooting the hoops.

"Nice shot" Daffy complimented whenever Bug's jump shot turn made it through the hoop.

"Thanks, I've been practicing a lot with this sport lately" Bugs said with a wink.

Daffy looked away for a moment, hoping to hide yet another blush that was rising on his cheeks.

"S...so do you wanna hang out after this?" Daffy asked anxiously.

"Sure. What do you have in mind?" Bugs asked.

Man he's too cute when he blushes, its just adorable. Bugs thought while chuckling quietly as blush start to appear on his cheeks too.

"Um. I was thinking of maybe we can go to the Fukuoka Garden on Ohori Park. Its very nice and peaceful at night without so many visitors crowding around in there." Daffy suggested as he faces back at him, with the blushes from both going down a little.
