Looney Town High (BugxDaffy): A Baffy high school AU

Chapter 17

After gym class was over for the day, Daffy was heading straight to the lockers when Bugs caught up to him and taps on his shoulder. 

"Hey doc, can you do me a quick favor and get my summer forms for the sports club activities camp for me while I talk to the coach for a minute? I left them in my locker and I don't have time to get them and change all at once." Bugs said.  

The two had planned to go to sports themed summer camp together so that they learn and teach each other new tricks and skills from some of the games that were commonly played in Japan. 

Thus, would be a fun-filled experience and a way for them to hang out more often in the summer time. 

"No problem, what's your combination code?" Daffy asked with a smile. 

"46 right, 23 left, 12 right. Oh and don't you even be thinking about stealing my English papers either. I don't do schoolwork for free, you know." Bugs teased. 

"I wouldn't dream of it. However... I can't promise that I won't be peeping into your Shakespearian paper. It looks very well written and I might even use it as an reference for mine too." Daffy winked with a huge sly grin on his face. 

"You better not! I worked hard on that essay!" Bugs laughed. 

"Haha. Okay, okay. I'll be right back." Daffy said as waves bye to him for the moment and heads inside. 

Luckily, his locker was nearby Bug's so that way, he would have time to change and grab his friend's stuff before the next class bell rings. 

Man, what a jokester. You really.... made my day.  Daffy thought with an infatuated smile. 

He was truly falling for the guy and just couldn't stop thinking about him either.  

Maybe... today will be the day.  

I mean how hard can it be really?

I'll just have us meet up after school and then..... I can tell him how I feel about him.  

Daffy thought beamingly as he switches to his regular clothes and shuts his locker behind as he goes across to open Bug's.

At first his face was full of joy and happiness as he initially opens the locker and grabs the summer forms that were sticking outside of Bug's backpack.

He was fixin to shut the locker back, when he suddenly sees an extra paper that stuck out of the bag as well. 

He grabs it from the locker and scans through it.  

His body suddenly, freezes up to the quick. 

His heart, dropped to the ground and his mind was spinning in a daze.

His face was flustered pale and he was weak in the knees. 

Why... didn't he tell me? Daffy thought as he continued to look on at the paper that he had held so tightly in his hands. 

it was a acceptance letter to a University in New York and was read: 

Dear Mr. Bunya, 

We are proud to inform you that you have been accepted at the University of New York City. We will look forward to the start of your career here.

Daffy looked down at the ground, devastated. 

He didn't know what to do or how to even process it all. 

He just simply sat in silence as he folds the letter and stuffs it in his pocket.
