Willow's POV:
Harry stood next to me and Hermione, as we followed close behind Ron, Fred, George and Ginny at King's Cross Station. I felt a cold chill run down my spine as we near platform nine and three quarters, but I ignore it and run through the platform.
"So how come Snape didn't just take you with him when he went to Hogwarts early?" Fred questioned.
"Maybe he wanted me to spend time with those I care about most." I answered, a smile filling my face. "You all are just as much as my family as my own parents. As much as that counts for. Given who my parents are. Not that I am not grateful to have parents."
"I just don't think he would be that kind." George added.
"Evidently there is another side to him that only I have had the pleasure of seeing." I mocked knowing they all hated Severus's guts, I could not let my guard down now. "Come on now we must get on the train, I would like to get to Hogwarts in a timely manner."
"You've been hanging around our mother to long!" Ron teased, making me roll my eyes.
"Yes well at least someone wants to spend time with her because you evidently don't." I stated, with a roll of my eyes. I turned to face Harry with a small smile on my face, "Find a compartment and I will join you three there later, kay?"
He nodded, and got onto the train followed behind Hermione and Ron. I felt a sigh of relief, my eyes fluttering close for a moment.
"Willow." a voice called, making my eyes snap back open. I looked around me and my eyes fell upon Pansy, Blaise, and Draco. Part of me wondered where Crabe and Goyle where, but let the thought slip from my mind. "Getting on the train anytime soon?"
I laughed out loud and hurriedly got onto the train following them to a compartment in the back of the train. The shiver came back, spreading throughout my body. I stretched my arms out in front of me feeling my muscles stretch, hoping that this is nothing to serious. Once in a compartment I shut the door tightly and sat down next to Pansy, across from Blaise and Draco.
"How was your summers?" I questioned, looking between each of them.
"Boring." Pansy drawled, with a roll of her eyes.
My attention turned to Blaise, who is a tall, black boy with high cheekbones and long, slanting eyes. His attention was focused on something outside. Some would call him beautiful, but I didn't. I thought him nothing compared to Severus.
"Wonder who they got to replace Lupin." Draco muttered, speaking for the first time since sitting down.
"Whoever it is probably wont last a year. They never do in that position." I muttered.
"I have heard Snape has been after that job for years." Blaise stated, finally turning away from the window and looking at the rest of us.
"I'll be shocked if they let him have it." Pansy added, crossing her arms over her chest. "Speaking of Snape, I heard you had to spend your summer with him."
"I did, yes." I nodded.
"Why?" Blaise questioned, seeming moderately interested.
"My mother is an abusive alcoholic who is dating Fenrir Greyback. And while I do not fear Greyback, Dumbledore thought it best that I do not go home." I explained, suddenly feeling tired, but knowing that if I fell asleep now I would have to rush to put on my robes. I rubbed my hands together for a moment before resting them on my thighs.
