After Mr. Joestar somehow talked his way into getting a carriage, you made it to the coastal town of Karachi - a very populous and busy city. You stopped by a Doner Kabob vendor and Mr. Joestar got out and began bargaining. "Something tells me this is going to go just as poorly as last time." You muttered and Kakyoin chuckled. Shifting around in the back of the carriage caught your attention; you turned and saw that the lady was now awake. "Hey! The old lady's awake!" Mr. Joestar yelled but you were focused on the terrified look on the old lady's face. "I-I... I-I haven't said anything! Why are you h-here before me? Do you think I, Enyaba, would betray Lord Dio about his stand?!" You realized she was talking to the vendor. He took his sunglasses off and smirked. The old lady then began to groan and the carriage broke apart. "What the-" You all jumped off the carriage and watched in disgust as the tentacles emerged out of her face. "Why have you come to kill me?!" She yelled. "Lord Dio trusts no one." The vendor took his cover off and dropped it to the ground. "I will make sure you never speak again." He then turned around. "As for you five, I will be taking your lives." The tentacles continued to rip out of the old lady, who had fallen on the ground and was bleeding everywhere. "My name is Dan. Dan of Steel. My stand suggests The Lovers card. I will see to it that you all meet the same date as Enyaba." Polnareff ran to the old lady but stopped as she started yelling about how Dio would never kill her and it was all a lie. "That's not a Stand coming out of that lady's body! Those are real tentacles!" "He would never plant a flesh bud in my brain! He's my only reason to live!" Polnareff's Stand emerged and cut some of the tentacles; they burnt up in the sun. "It's a flesh bud. It's Dio's own cells!" "Precisely! I'm impressed you figured that out." Dan said. "Enyaba, I heard that you were the one who told Dio about the Stands. But there is no way Lord Dio would ever trust an old lady like you." Mr. Joestar kneeled beside her and started pleading for her to tell him Dio's Stand but she was already on the brink of death. "(Y/N)! Heal her!" Just as he said that, the lady died. Dan started chuckling and you frowned. "The fact that she trusted him so fully shows how powerful Lord Dio's evil charm truly is. Haha!" You watched as he calmly sipped his drink. "It'll be five against one, but we won't go easy on you." "Stand up." He didn't make a move. "How annoying. If you're trying to act cool, it's failing." He winked at you. "Do as you please. But none of you will able to even lay a finger on me." You went to punch him but Star Platinum beat you to it and sent him flying into a nearby store. "Ugh!" Mr. Joestar was then sent flying backwards. "What happened?" "You idiot! I was in the middle of explaining! You were very close to killing your own grandfather." You ran over to Mr. Joestar and placed your hands on his shoulder. "Thank you, (Y/N)." "Listen carefully. Do you seriously think I'm here just to kill Enyaba?" "What is your stand?" Dan smirked. "The battle has already begun, Mr. Joestar. No matter how hard you look, you won't be able to find my stand so easily." He turned and handed a kid some money to hit him in the leg. As the broom handle connected with his leg, Mr. Joestar cried out in pain. "It hurts! It hurts so bad!" That irritating smirk appeared on Dan's face again. "Have you figured it out yet, Joseph Joestar? My Stand goes inside the bodies of others. The moment Enyaba died, it entered your brain through your ear! This means the Stand and I are one! If my Stand gets hurt, so do I, and vice versa." "What?" "My stand has already planted Lord Dio's flesh bud. It is growing within your brain. Just like Enyaba, it will eat you from the inside and you will die!" The kid hit his leg again and Mr. Joestar screamed in pain. You once again healed him just as Dan punched the kid to the ground. "To be honest, my stand is very weak. But, you don't need power to kill humans. Do you understand?" You watched as Jotaro grabbed Dan by the collar of his shirt and Star Platinum's fist emerged but Kakyoin pushed between them. "You need to calm down! We can't afford to do something stupid." "I'm gonna kill him so quickly, he won't feel pain." Mr. Joestar started groaning in pain, which caused Jotaro to let go of Dan's shirt. "Without a moment to feel pain... a great idea. Let's see you try it, Jotaro." He continued mocking Jotaro, which only pissed him off more. "Take a deep breath, Jojo. Don't let this guy get to you." You stated. "Were you gonna crack my head open with a rock? Here, I'll even pick one for you!" As Dan turned around with the rock, Jotaro grabbed Dan's collar again. "Don't underestimate me. When I say I'm going to do something, I do it." Kakyoin grabbed Jotaro from behind while his Stand held back Star Platinum and you put yourself between the two men. "Are you trying to kill your own grandfather?! Stop it!" You yelled as you pushed on his chest to get him to let go. "You aren't taking me seriously!" Dan said and you breathed a slight sigh of relief as Jotaro let go. "You..." Dan hit you in the stomach with the rock; you cried out in pain before you sank to your knees. "(Y/N)!" "Don't underestimate me, you bastard!" You glared up at Dan as he swung the rock down but Jotaro took the hit. "Once I kill your old man, it'll be your brain that I send The Lovers into and kill!" "(Y/N)! Jotaro!" You grabbed Jotaro's hand and began healing him before doing so yourself. "You moron." "Tch." You watched as Kakyoin and Mr. Joestar started running off. "Hey!" Polnareff ran after them. You went to move but Dan stepped on your hand. "Ah, ah, ah! You stay here with me." "Jotaro! (Y/N)! Stay here and keep him distracted while we help Mr. Joestar!" Kakyoin yelled before they disappeared down the street. You groaned as Dan dug his heel further into your hand. Not like I had a choice either way! "Oh I see. You think he further away you get, the weaker my stand will be? Well, you're wrong. Haha!" Jotaro stood up and you pushed Dan's foot off your hand. You got up and healed your hand as Dan grabbed Jotaro. "What are you looking away so calmly for? I'm talking to you!" You chuckled. "You sound like you're starting to crack." "Do you both plan on following me around until he dies?" "Dan, was it? You will definitely pay for this." Dan started laughing before digging into Jotaro's pocket and taking both his wallet and watch. "That's all you have? Ha." He pocketed them both and stared at you. "Let's have some fun, shall we?"
