Eunice's POV

I'm busy nibbling the straw of my bubble tea drink as I scroll through my phone.

It's early in the afternoon and I'm at the café near our university. I didn't told to Tan and Carlo that I'm meeting someone today. All they just know is, I'm going to hang out with my boyfriend which is a lie.

The truth is, I'm meeting Kei here.

I read her reply to my text this morning. So, I immediately sent her the location and time of our meet up. Well, I came here ten minutes early because I don't wanna be late since I'm the one who set up this meeting in the first place.

"Uwaah~ I think, I need to order another bubble tea.", I said to myself when I noticed that my drink is about to run out. I checked the area to see if there's a staff near me. Naka-pwesto kasi ako sa table outside of their café shop with a huge umbrella above my head covering me from the bright sunlight.

I was about to stand up to order something inside when a shadow came near me.

"Sorry, am I late?", I looked up to the girl who spoke.

"Oh, no. You're just in time. I actually arrived here 10 minutes early."

"What? You should've told me! So, you've been waiting for me the entire time?", she said as she sat down to the chair across mine.

Well, shit. I shouldn't have said that.

"No, it's really alright. Wait, what's this?", I asked when I noticed a newly ordered bubble tea in our table.

"Ah, that. I ordered it. I was about to enter the shop when I saw you here and I noticed that your drink was almost done. So, I bought you one. I also ordered one for myself.", she said while showing me the fruit tea that she's holding.

I watched her as she took a sip at her cold drink.

For some reason, she looked different today.

I observed her whole appearance. Her hair are tied up in a ponytail. She's wearing a white plain t-shirt and a pair of blue skinny jeans. I looked down, and I saw that she's wearing a brown flat shoes. Is she not hot?, I thought to myself when I noticed that she's also wearing a beige cardigan.

"Is something wrong?", my gaze shifted to her face when she spoke.

Ah, now I know what's different. She's wearing an eyeglasses. Part of her outfit, I guess.

"Nothing. I just noticed that you looked different today compared to yesterday.", I said as I took a sip on my drink that she ordered for me.

"Maybe because of the glasses.", I looked at her with her response.

"Yeah, that's it. As I observed you, you fancy conservative outfit, don't you?", she chuckled at my question.

"Well, yeah. And I'm not the type of person who wears clothes that shows too much skin. It's making me uncomfortable."

I don't know why but, I somehow feel offended by what she said. Well, I'm wearing an off-shoulder blouse and a high waist skirt. Which is, obviously expose too much of my skin. I just shrugged it off, thinking we have a different opinion about clothes.

"You should try sometimes. You're tall and pretty. I'm sure any clothes suits you. Do you wear dresses?"

"I wear if it's necessary."
