Dennis's POV

"Oi", the person who suddenly spoke out of nowhere surprised me.  I even spit some coffee to the papers that I'm holding because of him!

"You surprised me, Henry! Don't you know how to knock?", I said without looking at him because my eyes are focused to the documents that are now stained with coffee. I put down the cup that I'm holding in my right hand to the table in front of me.

Ah, shit. These are the inventory sheet and sales report from yesterday. Kei will kill me if she saw these. She's the one who made these reports after all.

"I apologize about that. I didn't knock because your door is wide open."

"Argh, whatever. Why did you come here at my office anyway? You should be busy at the counter right now.", I tried removing the coffee stain by using my handkerchief and gently damping it but, the heck.

I'm just making it worst. I guess, I'll have to ask Kei to redo this. Even if it's mean dying.

"Is Kei's shift still the same? It's Saturday today so, she'll come here before 3PM, right?", I shifted my gaze from the documents to him. He's leaning at the doorframe.

"Yeah, why did you asked?"

"Hm, can you get out for a second?"

"And why would I?", I stood up from my seat and faced him with my arms crossed.

"Well, there are people who you need to see. And it's about Kei."

People I need to see? And what's more is...it's about Kei.

'Dennis?'

'Hm?'

'Whatever happens, don't let Kei's parents meet her. Kei won't like it.'

'Why are you telling that to me? I'm not her guardian. And her parents has the right to see he—'

'No, Dennis. You don't understand. Kei can't hold her feelings when she's in front of them. I'm asking you this because...she's working at your café. There's a possibility that they might come there to see Kei.'

'Well, I don't mind but...'

'Please? You know Kei's situation. And only the two of us know and can understand her. Also, we're the only ones whom she trust right now.'

'Alright. I'll do it.'

'Yay! Thank you!'

'Don't be. Anything for you. Kei's the one who should be thankful to me.'

'Hahahaha!'

Without much thought, I hurriedly leave my office. I even saw Henry's surprised face when I passed by at him.

If it's her parents then this is the first. It's good that her shift is not early.

"Where are they?", I asked to Henry who's following behind me.

"Oh, follow me.", I followed him.

Since it's still early, only few customers are in here. Henry lead me to a table that is good for more than four customer. In short, it's a group table. And there, I saw young people who's happily chatting with each other. I furrowed my eyebrows at the sight that I'm seeing right now.

There's a total of six of them. Three girls and three boys. I recognized one of them but...who the hell are they?

"They're the one who's looking for Kei and when I said that Kei will come at a later time they asked me to...call you.", Henry whispered to me. I gave him a confused look but he just shrugged his shoulder.
I gave him a sign that he can now go back to his station. He just nodded at me as a response.
