[Wow! This must be Inarizaki's best game ever, even if it's the 2nd Day of Nationals!]

[It looks like Inarizaki's mindset is to 'Go Quick' as 1st year Setter Miyoko Koizumi sets the Center lines, Emiko Koizumi and Rika Suna.]

[Don't forget how it starts with amazing passes and receives by the Vixen Libero who's here showcasing that the injury from Middle School, made her comeback stronger.]

[It must be having a legend as a Father. Speaking of which, we have seen him watching Inarizaki and a few other powerhouse schools such as spotting him at Shiratorizawa's match yesterday, Geba High School, Morita Girls, and Itachiyama.]

[We hope to see more of legends who were part of the volleyball scene and these girls who are carrying out their legacies.]

Kimika's POV

I had to get one of the school's athletic trainers to help me ice my knees since it's sore. I don't think I'll ever stop icing my muscles until the day of my retirement. I had to be in one of those rooms like a health room at school. I didn't mind because I'm taking care of myself. But, I'm missing Samu's game which surprisingly in the start of the 3rd set.

I was eager to change out of my jersey and ran and sit down somewhere I can watch Samu play. I'm pretty sure Mishi and the girls are changing in our cheering section already.

I leaned back on the wall and waited for the timer to go off for the ice packs' jobs to be done. The silence is boring since I usually play on my phone when icing on the couch. My school's athletic trainers iced me first, then filing out to watch the Boys play; if they were to have any injuries.

"Man, I wish they installed a TV in here so I can watch...." I muttered in annoyance—out of boredom.

I flinched as the door opened to reveal Amaya with one of our trainers. She changed into our red shirt, black joggers, and red tracksuit.

"I just need to ice my arm." Amaya explained as she sits next to me while our athletic trainer made an ice pack. "Their float serves were really intense." She showed me a bruise that's forming on her right forearm.

"I remember having those when Father used to spike." I commented as she cringes.

"Is that how you became so good?" Amaya asked, ice being wrapped on her arm, wincing in pain. "You always talk about things like that, Kimika-san. Don't you like our team's banner?"

"Huh?" I tilted my head as the timer went off. Finally. The trainer came in an instinct to take away the ice packs and I sighed in relief and joy that I can finally watch Samu. I stood up carefully as we both thanked the trainer.

"Make sure you keep time, Amaya." The trainer reminded as we went out of the door.

"Yes, Ma'am."

Amaya's POV

"I think banners are mottoes." Kimika began to answer my question. "Phrases that we look up to, to which drives our motivation. Don't you think?"

I nodded quickly even if I don't really understand what she's saying. But that's how it is all the time. Ever since my sister, that meanie--bitch; who should be here in the crowd with the other Miya Fans. The ice is now piercing through my skin. It's uncomfortable but bearable since it's suppose to ease the throbbing in my forearm.

I learned that Kimika-san isn't Asana's words of slander. She is rather soft-spoken and really does have an outlook on life. Which I admire her advice on anything, even if she claims to be a terrible advisor and does her best to get her point across.

"The thing about memories though for me," Kimika hums in response. "It's good to replay them in your mind but it won't get you where you need to be in the future. That may as well connect to the saying, 'Don't dwell on the past'."

"No wonder I'm struggling in English." I confessed as she chuckles softly.

"Yeah, reading novels in English is difficult. One day, we'll both be smart in that category." She smiled a little and a fact about Kimika-san is that even if she despises words she can't understand well, she'll try and understand it to a farther extent. That's why I secretly admire her thoughts on certain topics.

"Kimika-chan! Amaya-chan!"

We both turned around and I see, Mishi-chan catching up to us in a hurry. "Did you watch us play?" I asked as she caught her breath.

"Of course, I did." She huffed before taking both our wrists--my other one that's not wrapped in ice; if she were to touch it, I'll get bad at her for it. "Come on! The Boys are almost done!!"

With that Kimika-chan's energy seems to switch as she walked a little bit faster than us. I guess her legs are eased by the icing since she was walking at a slow pace earlier. She yelled, turning her head slightly at us--a few steps behind.

"I thought they were done!!"
