Dance With You ~ Wanda Maximoff

Hi this is inspired by The Prom, ya know the Dance With You song lmaoooo.
Disclaimer: I've never watched The Prom, or listened to the music except this song because my bestie wanted a chapter based on it with Wanda:) so I'm trying my best with it so I hope it's good bahaha

I sighed staring at the soft snow that fell slowly. My hands tingling from the cold metal that surrounded me. I wasn't really in the perfect clothes to be sitting in freezing cold Sokovia. Even if I worked for Hydra, they never cared much about the lower workers. So it was up to us with making sure we had the proper things and me not having much money, and really only here for some sort of purpose; I didn't take care of myself. My feet turned to walk down the hall towards the small cells. I reached one of the cells, turning my head to see who was in it. Wanda Maximoff was sitting inside and she was staring up at the small TV screens that were in there. We had been seeing each other recently. We had met when she had come with her twin brother, Pietro, to become volunteers for some experiment Hydra was starting. I was really only a glorified secretary. She was watching a sitcom; like she always did. I knocked on the door, slowly opening it. Wanda snapped her head to look at me. When she noticed who I was, she smiled softly.
"(Y/n), hello."
Wanda said softly. I smiled back at her and walked towards her bed.
"Hey."
I responded and sat next to her. I instinctively leaned my head on her shoulder and started to watch the sitcom with her. Her body jumped slightly.
"Jesus (Y/n)! You're freezing!"
Wanda exclaimed and turned to face me completely.
"You're cold too. We're always cold Wanda."
I said, blowing out a white cloud. She furrowed her eyebrows and grabbed the blanket from her bed, wrapping the two of us in it together. I giggled softly, moving closer to her. Wanda smiled and placed a small kiss on my temple. She turned back to the TV. I smiled softly, enjoying the warmth that I got from the blanket and the closeness to Wanda. Throughout her time her with her brother, we had gotten close. Close enough for us to fall for each other. It was weird because I would've never thought I would meet the person I love with all my heart in Hydra.
"(Y/n)?"
Wanda spoke softly, squeezing my hand.
I didn't even notice that she had my hand in hers. I hummed to acknowledge her, signaling I was listening.
"Can I try something out on you?"
I opened my eyes at the question and looked at her.
"What do you mean?"
I raised an eyebrow and stared at the redhead.
"Magic wise...I think I've learned how to do something and I wanna try it out with you."
Wanda said softly, lifting her hand up.
A red glow appeared in her palm and her fingers moved along with it, red streams connecting to them. I swallowed a lump in my throat before nodding.
"I trust you."
I responded and moved closer to Wanda. She smiled and moved her hand closer to my head, tapping my temple. A large pain attacked my forehead and I winced backward, closing my eyes tightly.
"(Y/n)? Hey it's okay! I promise!"
Wanda called out to me, it sounded like she was so far away as her voice echoed.
I opened my eyes and gasped. My surroundings were changed from a cold grey cell to a small town that almost looked like a set from one of the sitcoms that Wanda watched all the time. I laughed softly and looked around, noticing a gazebo in the middle of the town, like it was signaling it was the town square. Something was telling me to walk closer so I did. I saw Wanda standing inside it, wearing a red jacket with black shirt and pants to go with it. It made my heart skip a beat to see her in other clothes other than her normal grey robe.
"Wanda!"
I called out and she looked back at me.
A bright smiled pulled at her lips and she reached her hands out to me. I quickly grabbed them and she pulled me closer to her. I laughed and pressed a kiss to her cheek.
"Well, that means it worked."
Wanda spoke triumphantly with a confident smile.
I smiled and Wanda started to walk through the small town that she had created. As we walked through, residents smiled and made talk with us like we had been there for years. They even handed us things from shops we passed by. Like the florist who handed Wanda a (favorite flower- f/fl) to give to me. I smiled and we thanked her as she smiled to the two of us. I twisted the flower in my fingers, my other hand still holding Wanda's.
"So I was thinking we could go get some dinner then..."
Wanda explained.
"(Y/n)!"
A voice yelled, making me glance my head and drown Wanda out
No one was around. I furrowed my eyebrows and stopped walking. Wanda quickly stopped talking and looked back at my hand since she was almost dragging me.
"Love, what's wrong?"
Wanda rubbed my knuckles and walked back to me.
I blinked and looked back at her.
"I could've swore someone yelled my name.."
I stated.
She smiled and shook her head.
"You're probably hearing things in the wind!"
Wanda squeezed my hand and I nodded.
We started to walk again and she continued on with her plan she had.
"Dinner sounds amazing."
I responded when she was done.
She talked about getting dinner then going out to the park and hanging out for a little bit to watch the sunset. God it's been years since I had seen the sun actually set. Every time I was outside the sun was already at the highest point or already below the horizon.

We did end up getting dinner and now we were walking to the park. We talked more and told dumb jokes to make each other laugh. The flower I had gotten earlier now sat in Wanda's hair. We really had nowhere to put it so I just put it in her hair.
"(Y/n)! Wanda!"
The voice yelled again, making me glance to the side again.
Wanda stopped and waved her hands, a blanket appearing on the floor. I furrowed my eyebrows and stared behind us while Wanda set up a few things, like snacks and drinks just in case we got hungry or something.
"(Y/n)!"
The voice called and I blinked.
"(Y/n)!"
Wanda said in unison with it, making my head snap back towards her.
"Ye..yeah sorry."
I muttered out, sitting down next to her. She looked at me worriedly. I smiled and shook my head.
"I think I might be going crazy or something. I swear I keep hearing someone call my name."
I explained and looked in the direction I heard it in.
Wanda smiled and shook her head.
"I'm sure it's just the wind making you think it or someone else has your name here!"
I furrowed my eyebrows when she said that.
"I doubt it."
We laughed slightly and I leaned closer to her. Wanda exhaled a deep breath and wrapped her arm around my waist. The sun slowly fell below the trees, turning the sky into a mix of scarlets and oranges. Wanda looked out at it amazed, her eyes were wide and her mouth was agape. I glanced at her, smiling softly at the sight. Her eyes caught mine and she turned to look at me, smiling brightly. I moved my hand to hold her face, leaning closer to her. She quickly leaned towards me before I felt a hand grip onto my tricep. I yelled out as I felt my body get pulled away from Wanda.
"(Y/n)!"
The voice and Wanda yelled again in unison.
The sight of the sun and town faded back into the cold grey as red sparked from around me. Wanda sat on the bed, her mouth open as she looked at me. I glanced back seeing a few of the security guards standing at the door, guns pointing straight at Wanda. Wanda growled and shot up from her bed. Her eyes flickered red and her hands started flowing with the color.
"No Wanda! Stop!"
I yelled out to her.
She blinked, the red fading. The guards yelled out to her in some language that I didn't know and she backed up away from me, putting her hands up.
"Don't hurt her please!"
I screamed as the guard holding me dragged me out.
"(Y/n)!"
Wanda screamed out and I winched at the pain in her voice.

"Wow, so you did this before?"
A brunette walked in front of a guard that had his gun up.
Wanda stared through Agatha, her mouth agape, tears threatening to spill.
"I..I just wanted to make her feel happy.."
Wanda whispered softly and Agatha pouted her lip.
"But you just ended up sending her to her death sentence."
Wanda's eyes widened as she looked at the older witch.
"No, I-I saw her! She went with the Avengers when they first found us!"
Agatha raised her eyebrow as Wanda started to panic.
Wanda was sure that you were alive still after this. She saw you leave with them because you broke down in front of Captain America. She remembered seeing you on the Helicarrier, trying to help people get on and helping with wounds. Wanda just didn't want to come bother you part of her thought you wouldn't want to see her to begin with. Agatha cleared her throat, making Wanda snap her head towards her. She blinked as she stared at the door of a abandoned house stood in front of her. Wanda slowly walked up to the door and it opened as she approached it.

Wanda stared at the scene, multiple Ultron droids laid scattered and broken in the streets.
"Wanda!"
(Y/n) yelled out and ran up to her.
Wanda smiled brightly and ran towards her, grabbing her into a tight hug. She was now dressed in S.H.I.E.L.D's uniform instead of Hydra's
"We need to go. Right now."
(Y/n) said, pulling Wanda through the town towards the Helicarriers. The two came up to them and (Y/n) made sure that Wanda got on before her. Hawkeye ran up to Wanda, his face red with tear trails. (Y/n) let her go along as she stood off to look around for other people coming towards the ships. The agents around her stated they were about to take off and she nodded, walking towards the ship. One of the Ultron droids was still active, having a small bit of juice left in them. (Y/n) was stepping onto the carrier as it started to move away. She stood at the side, getting ready to close the doors. The Ultron droid grabbed onto her arm and wrapped itself around her chest. She yelled out for Wanda as it pulled her off the side. Wanda quickly looked away from Hawkeye, screaming out her name. She ran towards the side to go after her but Hawkeye grabbed onto her.
"Wanda! Stop! You can't save everyone! Don't kill yourself trying!"
He yelled out to her.
