"Another Loki? Mobius don't you think this is a little dangerous?" I said as I flipped the file to look at the new Loki variant.

Mobius shrugged his shoulders, walking towards the courtroom. I quickly followed behind him and straightened the papers in my hand.

"Well, the best person to catch a Loki would be a Loki right?" Mobius turned to look at me.

"I mean, I guess," I replied uneasily as I handed the folder to the older man.

He smiled and stopped a little to be on the same pace as me. He wrapped his arm around my shoulder and squeezed it. I sighed softly, smiling at the gesture.

"I know what Loki means to you. Don't worry." Mobius reassured me and continued walking me towards the courtroom.

I exhaled a deep breath and nodded. Mobius smiled and shook me before opening the door to the courtroom. Ravonna sat at the head of the room, looking down at the man standing in the small circle. Mobius called out to her to stop as she lifted the gavel to sentence the variant to be pruned. I went into my position behind the small stand where Loki stood. The tall man looked back at me, furrowing his eyebrows. I glanced up at him and quickly looked away. Loki let out a small chuckle before turning back to look at Mobius and Ravonna. My brain froze since he was almost the first Loki to look exactly like the one from my timeline. I had seen plenty of them but he was the closet looking one I had seen.

"You look oddly familiar, have we met?" Loki said to me while Mobius and Ravonna talked.

My mind raced and my throat ran dry. The whole problem of me coming here was happening. My heart pounded and I quickly stared at the floor.

"No, you must be thinking of someone else." I quickly spat out and looked for Mobius through my (h/c) hair that fell over my eyes.

Mobius turned around to look at us and clicked his tongue. I wanted to reach out and hug him, crying into his chest about how much I missed him. But this wasn't my Loki. My Loki was still young with chipped black fingernail polish. This Loki had bitten down nails and they held a rough look to them. My Loki still had the gleam of hope in his eyes that one day he would be the best king for Asgard. This Loki had a different look in his eyes, hopelessness, and even a hint of fear. I sighed and pulled slightly at the jacket I had laid over my shirt. It was too big for me, so I had long sleeves that I could pull at. He walked towards us and grabbed onto my arm. The glass circle around Loki opened and the God slowly walked out. Mobius told him to follow us and lead me towards the interrogation room I had set up beforehand.

"Variant? How come she gets a jacket and I don't?" Loki called from behind us.

Mobius patted my arm and told me to keep walking. I nodded and kept my pace as Mobius fell behind to walk next to Loki.

"Because my friend, she's trustworthy, unlike you," Mobius said and I giggled.

"I find that hard to believe," Loki said with a small smirk. "(Y/n), my love, how are you doing?"

My stomach dropped when Loki said my name. Yes, I was a variant that helped the TVA. Unfortunately, I created a nexus event after killing Sigyn in a fit of jealousy. Mobius decided to stop my pruning to keep me aside to try and help to find the variant Loki that had escaped because who else would know how to trap a Loki? Obviously his love interest. We walked up to the room and I stopped to look back at Mobius. He nodded to me and pushed Loki ahead of him. Loki stopped and stared at me, squinting his eyes.

"Why are you here?" Loki questioned and I smiled nervously, pushing on his back to move him into the room.

"Good luck Mobi," I said softly and the older man sighed heavily.
