Missy clocked out and headed out the front. Monica was waiting in her usual spot, taking up two spaces as she reapplied her lipstick. She opened the door and sat down in the seat before shutting the door.

"Thank you." She said as she buckled in.

"You say that everyday, Missy. You don't have to thank me every time I drop you off and pick you up." Monica rolled her eyes as she checked to make sure her fake lashes were still in place.

"Sorry. I just want you to know that I appreciate it."

The visor was slapped shut and she threw the car in reverse. "Stop saying that, too. You're always saying sorry and it gets annoying. I know that you appreciate it. How could I not when you tell me at least twice a day." She huffed as she turned in her seat to look behind her.

"Sor..." Missy clamped her mouth shut as Monica sent her a glare. "So, what do you have planned today?" She changed the subject so that she didn't make Monica upset by saying sorry again.

"The girls and I are going out to the club. I know you can't go, so I won't ask, but look at it in a good way." She said as she merged into traffic. "You'll get to clean the apartment without us in the way." Monica smiled at her before looking back at the road. "No one going behind you and messing it all up again. At least not until after we get back."

Missy laughed. "I guess you're right. I'll get to do some deep cleaning." Cleaning was one of Missy's favorite things to do. It was almost therapeutic to her. Plenty of time to think and then you get to sit back and relax in a nice clean environment. Nothing made her happier than a clean home. Unless it was a clean home with the smell of home cooking wafting through it. Yum.

"I knew you'd be happy about that. I can see it on your face." Monica laughed. Her phone dinged and she reached into the console to grab it. Missy chewed her lip as she watched the road, a small slither of fear moving through her.

"Monica, please don't text and drive?" She didn't mean for it to come out sounding like a question, but it did.

"Chill out, Missy. I've got this." She said without looking up. The car swerved to the middle of the road before Monica corrected herself. Thankfully there were no cars in the oncoming lane. Missy swallowed hard and then sighed in relief when the phone was placed back down. "That was Jessica, she wants to know if she can borrow my red dress. I told her if it was washed then yes. Did you wash it after I wore it last week?"

"Yes, I did." she nodded, "It should be hanging in your closet."

"Awesome." The phone dinged again but thankfully they were pulling up to the apartments. "I have a few bags in the trunk, will you help me get them?"

"Of course!" Missy smiled and got out, she walked around the back and the trunk popped open. Monica was still sitting in the car, texting. There were two bags in the back, so she just grabbed them both and shut the door. She waved to Monica as she passed the door, but she wasn't looking up. The car door opened when she was halfway up the stairs.

The sound of Monica's heels followed her down the hall and then she opened the door to let her in. "Just put them in my room." Missy nodded and headed down the hall, passing Jessica's and Alyssa's rooms before coming to Monica's. She pushed the door open and walked in, sitting the bags on the end of the bed, she looked around the room. White and grey with splashes of coral.

Not her thing but at least it was a room and decorated the way Monica wanted. Missy smiled as she left the room, closing the door behind her and heading down the hall. Back in the kitchen she started getting her things ready to clean. Pulling out the mop, broom, scrub brushes, dusters and cleaners. She grabbed a chair and stepped up in it so that she could grab one of her headbands from the top of the fridge. Easiest place to keep them for cleaning.
