The cafeteria was bland. It was an overcast today which caused everyone to seem gloomy. Everyone was separated in four or more groups. Y/N was on her own and trying to find a seat where she could possibly 'fit in'. " Hey Y/N you need food first!" She was dazed and did not pay attention to her ghost companion. " There are so many people here, why is that?" he chucked and gently grasped her hand. " Let's get you food first, do you have lunch money?" she nodded. Cody guided her threw the line and said what is what.

Finally, the hard part has arrived, where to sit. She felt anxious and had no idea where she could sit. Walking around, she analyzed every table while people gave her strange looks. After walking around the cafeteria she finally sound a little round table that only had two people. One was a girl, she was wearing light pink hoodie with a white skirt. Her blonde hair going all the way down to her hips. The other was a boy, his bangs covering one of his eyes and the rest in a little bun. He was wearing a black sweater underneath his black shirt that had a band name on it. He had a black choker on. Cody was suspicious on this group, "Uh Y/N not to be rude but, maybe another table yeah?" Y/N ignored him and sat down anyways. " Good evening my fellow classmates! My name is Y/N!" The grunge teen stared, while the cute pink hoodie girl was smiling. "OMG! Y/N your outfit is soooo cute! My name is Lilith by the way!(I am sorry if that is your name)" Y/N smiled. Cody felt uneasy that it seemed that the other teen was staring right at him. "What's his name.." the boy finally said. "I'm sorry, who?"Lilith takes a bite out of a cookie "Oh! Jacob has been saying that there has been a ghost around you, and that it looks like you're talking to it."

Cody's jaw dropped and had no idea what to do in this situation. He has never been in this type of situation before. Y/N looks up to Cody and wonders if she can tell them. Hesitantly, Cody gently placed his hands on her shoulders and nods. "Y-Yeah, he's my ghost friend. I do have some curiosity though. May I ask, how can you see him?" Jacob looked at Y/N, "It has been something I can do since I was born." Jacob glared at Cody as if he were a threat. "Sooooo, when did you and your ghost buddy meet?" asked Lilith. "Oh, well I just moved into town and I happened to move into a home that was his." Jacob got up, "I need to step out for a bit, excuse me." Y/N was confused on why he left. Little did she know, she made his cold heart flutter.

As Jacob walked out of the cafeteria, he passed by the trophies that were displayed. Leaning against it, he sighed heavily trying to compose himself. How could he fall so quickly for Y/N? He was thinking maybe it was because he was shallow but, Lilith does not have that effect on him. There is just something about her that makes a spark enlighten inside of his soul. There is a down side, she is with a ghost. He feels this threatening aura from him, like he has dark intentions. He needs to look after Y/N...and that ghosty friend of hers. Jacob was finally calmed down and was standing up.

Something caught his eye and looked back. There, was a photo of the football team... in the middle..was Cody. His eyes widened and stumbled back. It all makes sense now, Cody was the boy who went missing back in the 80's. Jacob sped back into the cafeteria and sat across from Y/N and cleared his throat. "Yes Jacob?" he glared at Cody, " I do not think you should be hanging around that guy.."
