The sun shone through the window of the Ravenclaw girls dormitory lighting up every nook and cranny of the room.

The room was almost silent apart from the rustling of Evelyn shaking her bed covers to straighten them out.

It was a peaceful scene, the girls were sound asleep and Eve was the only one awake, but this was nothing new, she had almost always been the first to wake for as long as she could remember.

She walked over to her dresser and started to change into her school robes, taking off her pajama bottoms that were plastered with Viktor Krum's face.

They had been a gag gift from Anna, she had seen an awful merchandise stand at the Quidditch world cup and thought they were too funny- she couldn't resist buying them.

Neatly folding the clothes and placing them on her perfectly made bed, Eve tied her blue tie around her neck and looked out the window.

She hadn't gotten a lot of sleep, truthfully she was worried for Harry, she didn't believe for a second that he put his own name in the Goblet of Fire, that poor boy had had enough trouble over the years. And not to mention his face went as pale as a sheet when his name was called.

As she tied the last loop and put on her shoes she grabbed her poetry book and looked out of the big window again, the sky was unusually clear for Autumn and a gentle breeze was swaying the branches of the trees, blowing some leaves around the grassy floor.

Just as she was about to leave Anna stirred in her bed.

She mumbled some words that sounded like "Morning" and "Coffee".

"Morning Anna, it's a nice day today we could study outside later if it's still sunny."

Anna shoved a pillow over her face and wrapped her arms around it, "It's too early to talk about studying." She grumbled.

"We can talk about it when you've got caffeine in your system then." Eve chuckled, "It looks like it'd be a nice night for stargazing too."

Anna gave a muffled response but the pillow over her face didn't exactly make it easy for Eve to hear her.

"I'll see you in a bit i'm off for breakfast."

Anna made a groan and rolled back over onto her front scrunching the covers up around her like a burrito and Eve quietly closed the door behind her.

Heading down to the Great Hall she made a mental note of what lessons she had today and what homework she still had to do.

"Potions essay... herbology diagrams..."

Owch... "That was odd" she though to herself rubbing her chest where she felt a small pricking sensation like a pin being poked into her skin.

"Some charms homework..."

Owch... there it was again. This time it was a harsher pain, less like a pin and more like a small knife stabbing at her lungs.

Something wasn't right.

Eve felt a sudden sharp pain in her chest. It spread through her body and she grasped her stomach as she felt a blinding pain from her middle.

Then she started to cough, spluttering everywhere, struggling to breathe.

Everything seemed to be wrong with her.

She pushed her hand out onto the wall next to her to keep herself steady but missed and stumbled forwards, panting heavily.

Her hands slammed onto the cold stone floor and her book was tossed across the corridor.

She could hear people calling her name, asking her if she was okay but she had no idea where they were coming from as white spots clouded her vision. Eve felt her heart beating in her head and everything seemed to slow down around her.
