On the morning of April 1st, Fred and George Weasley awoke to find 5 pairs of eyes hovering over their heads. George jumped at the sight of his friends smiling down at him, and attempted to smooth his wild bed hair at the sight of Eve.

Fred on the other hand, merely stretched and rolled over again as if none of them had been there, seemingly forgetting what day it was.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" They all yelled, incredibly out of sync.

As Eve, Anna, Lee, Angelina and Katie's voices rung through his ears, Fred shot up with a huge toothy grin on his face. "Ah my favourite day of the year," He beamed, "My birthday. The day of me. The day the world was graced with my presence."

"That'd be our birthday Freddie..." George rolled his eyes and laughed, sharing his brother's excitement in a much subtler way.

"Yeah yeah, same thing... Right bring on the presents!" Fred fist pumped the air.

"Of course. Priorities." George rubbed his hands together and smiled at his friends expectantly.

"Hold your horses..." Anna laughed at how eager the twins were before sitting down on the end of Fred's bed with Katie. "We've got a few rules first."

Fred and George's faces dropped like rocks when Anna spoke, "Rules?!" They questioned.

"Rules on a birthday? What kind of sickos are we friends with George?"

The group laughed and with a quick spell, Eve floated out a large box from behind the bed, "Rule number one..." She began and the boys groaned, falling back into their pillows, "Eat cake for every meal of the day."

Suddenly, they sat up again, the grins returning to their faces, "Go on..."

"We're listening..."

Eve undid the red ribbon tying the cardboard together and the sides of the box fell down revealing a messily decorated quidditch themed cake.

"Wicked!"

George could just make out two figures with bright red spikes coming out the top of their head that he assumed were supposed to be him and his brother, riding little sticks (their brooms) with smaller sticks (he guessed their beater's bats) and finally a small blob for the bludger.

"Eve baked it and iced the sides." Lee pointed to the cake, "I did the background."

"I iced you guys." Angelina chimed in.

"I did the ball and the brooms." Katie announced from behind Anna.

"And I..." Anna smirked at the two boys, "ate half the mixture."

"Yeah it would've been a bit bigger otherwise..."

"It's perfect." George smiled at Eve, then dipped his finger into the icing of his head.

"It's probably a good idea you didn't let Anna do any icing..." Fred pointed out, earning a smack on the head from the Ravenclaw.

Everyone laughed as Angelina cut into the cake, giving the birthday boys the biggest slice, and they all cleared their plates in seconds.

"So," Fred wiped his mouth free of crumbs, "What's rule number two, if they're all like that I could get used to following the rules."

The group smirked at one another and stood up from their seats, with a flick of her wand Eve cleared the mess and gestured towards the door.

"If you'd like to follow us..."

"Rule number two," Eve pushed open the heavy wooden doors to the Great Hall, revealing a sea of red and gold, "Celebrate in the highest possible manner."
