Finally reaching it I switch it on to find a tall male figure and....

Ashley.

Fuck!

She's my roommate? Please tell me that my actual roommate gave her the key to the dorm for some reason?

Her eyes go wide as she groans, falling on the bed. "Seriously? I have to share a room with her?!" She practically screams and I can smell the alcohol from here. "This can't be fucking happening."

Okay, so that key thing is out of the question.

"Are you guys drunk?" I ask, looking over at Harry that stumbled over the box on the floor, also falling on the bed.

"Why? What does it matter to you, little miss goody? She probably hasn't even had sex before." Harry slurs as he begins to laugh for his response.

"Little miss goody?" I ask, lifting my brow. "You can't just come to the dorm room drunk! And by the way, guys are not even allowed in here."

"See, she's not just little miss goody, she's little miss bitchy also." Ashley says rolling her eyes.

I clench on my teeth, trying to hold back what I want to say to her. This is definitely not a good first impression. This whole day was a mess and now my roommate is a drunk, bringing a guy to our dorm room.

Oh joy.

"If you don't mind, I would like to go back to sleep." I say sarcastically as Harry begins to laugh.

"Yeah, like we want to be in the presence of you all night," He says taking Ashley's hand. "Let's go somewhere else."

"You know what.." I began but he shut the door before I can. What an ass! First of all, who brings their drunk boyfriend to the dorm room, where you don't even know who your roommate is because you've probably been drinking your ass off the entire day?

Hmm.. that's why they crashed into Jen's car..

Second of all, who's that rude to someone you don't even know? Calling someone a bitch for trying to keep by the rules?!

Third of all... uhm.. they're just mean, okay?

I can't believe someone as attractive as Harry would be such a douche. No actually I can. He thinks that because of his looks he can just say and do what he wants whenever he wants to. Well, that's not how it works. And trust me, I'm not scared of standing up to someone like him.

....

Standing to my feet, I decide to get a glass of water. Almost tripping over one of the boxes, I groan.

Maybe I should take these away..

I glance over at the clock, seeing that it's 4 am. Well, I know I won't be able to fall asleep now. Harry's voice spins in my head as I try to maintain my calm facade.

"She probably hasn't even had sex before."

Yes, I am a virgin. I've never been to that stage where having sex was an option. Actually, I've never even been in love before. I believe that having sex shouldn't just be having sex, it should be making love. I'm not going to just give my body to anyone, I have to love that person. And by the way things are going now, that may never happen.

I exhale sharply out of my nose, placing the box in my closet. My mind wanders to university... I already know my schedule and how to get there. I wonder if I'll make friends.. If all the students are like Ashley and Harry.. I honestly don't want any friends then.

.......*.......

I decide to go to the mall, just to get extra clothes because I didn't bring many.. oh and food. Yeah, food will be good.

Heading into the dorm shower, I can literally feel the steam released off of my skin as the hot water massages my body. I run the razor lazily over my legs in attempt to just smoothen them. Running the water over my entire body, letting all of the shower gell leave my skin, I turn the water off and exit the shower.

I jump as I enter the dorm room, seeing Ashley lay across her bed, asleep. Her mouth is slightly open and she's snoring lightly. Probably hungover.

I wouldn't want to be her when she wakes up.

I take my time getting ready, curling my chocolate brown hair into perfect waves and applying minimal makeup. I'm dressed in a white skinny Jean, tank top, sweater and converse.

As I exit the mini bathroom, I see Ashley sitting on top of her bed now. Wide awake.

"Morning." I try to soften the tension between us, but all I got is an eye roll and a sigh. "Ugh, whatever. If you don't even want to try and make this work-"

"Make what work?! We are not, and will ever be, friends. Got it?" She snaps, walking towards the bathroom.

Okay, then. Got it.

....

I've been walking around the mall for at least 3 hours, basically window shopping. I don't really know what I'm looking for, all I know is that it isn't what I saw before. Maybe I'll just go and eat something, I'm starving.

I spot the nearest McDonald's, not even caring about my health right now. God, this place is packed.

"Excuse me, is there any tables that isn't full?" I ask one of the staff members.

"No, I'm sorry. The wait is an hour and a half." He replies, not even looking up from his notepad.

Talk about rude..

"Are you sure? I'm really starving." I try.

"Okay, listen. I'm not in a good mood and you're just pissing me off further. If I say there isn't any tables then there isn't." He snaps, clenching his teeth.

I open my mouth to speak, but someone already has. "Hey! That's no way to talk to a lady." I hear someone behind me. "She'll be sitting with me, and I'll be sure to contact your manager."

I turn around, wanting to meet my saviour. I'm completely blown away as I see how alluring he is, brown hair, medium built and beautiful green eyes.

"I'm Louis." He smiles. "Want to have lunch with a stranger?"
