Chapter 15: Gun shots

I held my gun and walked next to England, France, and Courtney "Why did they have to put me with you?" England asked, a huge frown on is face. I turned to him "Shut up Kirkland. Do you want us to get caught?" England stopped walking, slightly shocked at what I just said to him. I felt kind of sorry, and sighed "Look.....I just don't wanna get caught by the Axis." Courtney and France looked at each other "We should continue walking." Courtney said, trying to break the awkwardness. France and Courtney started to walk "C'mon guys. We really need to go. We're supposed to be finding the Axis!" Courtney said to me and England when we weren't walking.

We walked to a park, which had a forest, and through the forest we could see some light. I leaned against the fence "Guys, we need to get in there." "Can we?" France asked,walking close to the fence. Courtney looked around the fence "Nothing." She said, a small frown on her face. England looked up "It's not that high. We might be able to climb over." I shrugged "Worth a shot. You guys wait here." I gripped the fence and put a foot in one of the holes. I climbed to the top "Crap. There's barb wire." I turned back to Courtney, France, and England "There's barb wire up here. But there's some missing. I could get through." I turned and saw six figures on the other side of the fence, they were pretty far so I couldn't make out they're features. I stared at them, and started to climb over the fence to get to the other side. I felt a piece cut my leg and winched in pain, I sighed, but luckily got to the other side without any bad cuts "It's safe, just watch out for the barb wire." I turned back to see the figures still there, but now, one had something in they're hand. I cursed under my breath and shouted at Courtney, England, and France "DON'T COME OVER! THEY'VE GOT A GUN!!" I started to climb back over the fence. I heard a gun shot and felt a pain in my arm, I looked at realized that they shot a bullet at me. Courtney screamed "LIV GET DOWN FROM THERE!!" I heard another gun shot, and moved my body, hoping the bullet wouldn't hit me. It didn't luckily. But the sudden movement made me loose my footing. I tried to get my leg back in the hole, but heard another gun shot. It hit the piece of metal right under my hand, causing me to lift my hand up from fright. I realized that was a stupid choice, and fell of the fence.

I woke up to see Courtney right in my face "THANK GOD YOUR ALIVE!!!" Courtney hugged me, tears streaming down her face. I looked behind me "Were'd they go?" I turned to England and France who were sitting on the ground. "They ran off after you fell." France said, looking around. I looked at my arm, which now had a cloth on it, stained with some blood "Were they....the Axis?" Courtney turned my head to face her "That doesn't matter right now, you just fell from a fence and got shot. Not to mention that barb wire that cut your leg." I looked at my leg, which had a cut. "Today is not my day......" I said with a slight laugh. England turned to me "You almost just died and you make a joke?" I shrugged "But I didn't die. Now did I?" England growled at me and turned away. I heard a stick break behind us and jumped. France looked up "They're here~" I pushed Courtney away from me and picked up my gun. "Dude, you ok?" I pulled my gun down slightly, recognizing the voice "America?" I stared as the rest of the Allies and Rachel walked out of the forest to us "Why are you here?" I asked confused' Russia replied "We got a call from Britain that you were hurt." I shook my head "I'm fine." I turned onto my side and stood up, my legs felt a little numb and shook. "Doesn't look like your fine." England said, walking over to me "You didn't have to call them." I said, sitting back down. Rachel stared at my arm and pointed to it "Liv.....what happened?" France spoke for me "Someone tried to shoot her." I looked at France "You didn't need to tell them that." China looked at my leg "What about that?" England laughed slightly "She cut herself on barb wire." I turned to him "And why is that funny to you?" He shrugged "I don't know, you just really annoy me. And some how you managed to hurt yourself." I rolled my eyes "Yeah but at least I'm not a pathetic sack of-" I was interrupted by some one jumping on me.
