Chapter 17: Capture and Freedom

I woke up in a dark room, my hands tied together. I tried to pull my hands out of the ropes, but when I did all I felt was pain. "Crap......" I said quietly, not being able to see anything an inch ahead of me. I heard a whisper "Liv? Is that you?" I jumped and nodded, even though I knew they couldn't see me "Yeah, thank god your here Courtney." I reached my hands ahead of me, feeling for something. "Is Rachel here?" I asked in a whisper "She's not talking. Could she be in another room?" Courtney said, worry clearly in her voice. "Ok, then we need to get out of here." I said, I heard two feet land on the ground. "Ok. I'll help." Courtney said, I realized we were both on some sort of bed and jumped off. I held my hands in front of me, looking for a way out. I heard Courtney hit something "Ow....well I think I found something." I stared into the darkness "Can you feel it?" "Sure." We were in silver for a few seconds, until she spoke "It's a door nob!" I smiled "Open it." I saw a creak of light and heard a door open. I was now able to see Courtney's face, it looked slightly bruised like she was hit. "Liv, is something wrong?" She asked tilting her head to the right, I shook my head "No, you just look........bruised?" Courtney shrugged, and looked away "I dunno. I guess this happened while we were knocked out." I walked closer to her "We should probably find Rachel." I said crossing my arms.

We walked through the big building, I shoes making a clicking noise when they hit the tile ground. Me and Courtney looked around, seeing flags of countries and weapons. "Where do you think Rachel could be?" Courtney asked me, get voice low "I don't know. But I know we'll find her." I said back, sure of myself. That was the only thing we said for an hour, we didn't want to talk, since we'd probably get caught.

After a bit of wondering we found a room with a window. "Wanna look?" I asked pointing to the window. Courtney nodded "Sure. I'll keep watch." I nodded and leaned against the window. "It's Rachel!" I said almost letting myself out of a whisper voice. Courtney turned to me and ran to the window "Sweet! Let's get her!" We opened the door, which set off an alarm "CRAP!" I shouted. Rachel screamed and ran to us "LET'S GET OUT OF HERE!" She said pulling me and Courtney behind here. Weird, she was just in a room. She wasn't tied up or anything. I pulled my wrist away and ran ahead of them "THERE'S GOTTA BE A WAY OUT!" The red light was flashing and it was giving me a headache, the alarm sound didn't help much either. I saw a door right in front of me swing open, I slid to a stop and fell on my butt. Germany stepped out, clearly angry "NEIN! YOU VON'T ESCAPE!" I screamed and scooted backwards. I felt myself bump into someone, I turned around and screamed as I saw Prussia. I slid under Prussia's legs and stumbled to get up, I turned my body around to face them and smiled "Bye bye!" They both growled and ran after me. Courtney and Rachel laughed "nice dodge." Courtney said, running next to me. "Yeah it was awesome! But what about the others?" Rachel asked. I gasped "HURRY!" I sped up my running, even though I was getting exhausted. We came to a window "We gotta get out through this. It's the only way!" Rachel said climbing up. I reached up and pulled myself up, Courtney followed closely after. I saw an axe land right next to my left hand, I screamed and looked behind me. I saw a tan brunette with bright green eyes "SPAIN!" I shouted, trying to climb faster. I got to the top of the window and helped Courtney up, Rachel tried to pull of the window "C'mon. C'mon, please." Rachel said, starting to get scared. I turned to the window and helped her, Courtney screamed "SPAIN, ROMANO, PRUSSIA, AND GERMANY ARE COMING!" I screamed and tried to open the window. I stopped, noticing Romano had a gun "Courtney, Rachel. Back up." They both looked at me confused, I looked at them "I have an idea." They both nodded and leaned against the wall "We trust you Liv." Rachel said, nodding. I stood straight up "HEY LOSERS!" The boys stared at me. I fake laughed "THERES NO WAY YOU CAN GET UP HERE! WE'LL JUST KICK YOU DOWN!" Germany and Prussia were getting slightly annoyed, Spain lifted an axe up. "THERE IS TOTALLY NO WAY YOU GUYS CAN STOP US FROM ESCAPING!" Courtney whispered "Are you trying to get us killed?" I looked at her "Shut up. This is the plan." I heard Romano shout "YOU-A B*STARD I'LL KILL YOU!" He held up his gun, I stuck out my tongue "GIVE ME YOUR BEST SHOT YOU TOMATO!" Romano shouted and aimed his gun "Courtney. Rachel. Duck now." Courtney and Rachel quickly ducked lower to protect themselves. I heard a gun shot and jumped to the side, the window behind us broke "See? That was my plan." Courtney and Rachel looked at me then the window "Smart." They both said together. We climbed out the window "THANKS FOR FREEDOM ROMANO!" I shouted behind me, waving.
