Chapter 18: Japan

We ran through the forest as fast as we could "WHERE COULD......THE ALLIES BE?!?" I asked quickly losing breath. "They've.....got to be around here....somewhere." Courtney replied. We stopped to make sure we were safe "Are they even.....following us?" Rachel asked turning around. We stared behind us for a second "I don't see.....anyone." I said, Courtney stared into the darkness "I guess not....." She said leaning against a tree. I saw a shadow pass us and stepped back, startled "Did you guys see that?!" Courtney and Rachel looked at me confused. "I didn't see any-" Rachel stopped talking mid sentence, I looked at her "Rachel you ok?" Courtney looked to where Rachel's eyes were "Liv....we need to run." Courtney said. I turned around to see Japan, he stared at me with cold brown eyes. I gulped and stepped back slowly, his eyes followed me. I saw his hand slowly pull his sword out of it's holder, I gulped and bumped into a tree. "LIV LOOK OUT!" I saw a slash of metal right next to my head, I looked to my right where the sword was. I laughed nervously and darted away. Courtney and Rachel ran quickly, catching up to me "I THOUGHT WE WERE SAFE!" Rachel shouted "NOW I UNDERSTAND WHY JAPAN WASN'T WITH THE OTHERS!" Courtney shouted nervously. I noticed an opening in the forest, leading to a field of tall grass "HEAD IN THERE!" I shouted, turning my direction.

I jumped into the field, Courtney and Rachel jumped in behind me "Follow me." I said running low. We got to a darker area of the field and crouched, hoping not to be seen by Japan. I felt my temples pounding and took small breaths, Courtney and Rachel were probably doing the same. I heard a gun shot and froze, I reached to where my gun was placed. It wasn't there. The Axis must have took them off of us when they captured us. I regret not going to the weapons when me and Courtney had the chance. This is the perfect situation now isn't it? I heard a rustling to our right and gulped. This was it wasn't it? Me and my two best friends were going to die. I barley did anything in my pathetic life. If I would have known it was going to be this short I would have cherished it more. What I would do now to live a little longer. I clenched my eyes shut as I heard the rustling stop, so now the person was in the opening. "Thank god we found you." I heard a familiar voice, and opened one eye. I felt tears stream down my face and embraced the English man in a hug, I spoke while crying "KIRKLAND AM I GLA-AD TO SEE YOU!" England chuckled slightly and pulled me off him, he looked at Courtney and Rachel "You ok?" We all nodded. I heard more rustling and ducked behind England, he laughed "It's just the rest of us." I smiled and stood up straight. "What.....about Japan?" Courtney asked. America bit his lip "We shot him." Rachel gasped "HOW COULD YOU SHOOT JAPAN!" She shouted. England frowned, holding her off from America "Relax. We just shot his arm." I looked at my arm "Now we're twins." I said with sarcasm. Russia smiled "Now The Axis will have to find him and we can escape easily, da?" I nodded "Then let's go."

[*awesome music starts to play and I put sunglasses on*
