Shugo Chara: Ikuto x Reader

Ch. 9: The Final Egg

It's been about 2 weeks now. My last egg did nothing but sit there in my bag. Ikuto had accepted me as his girlfriend, the Sensei Sensei guy did nothing to bother me since the hospital incident... I'm over cloud 9.
"__________." Yaya said. "You're... Out of it."
I snapped back to reality. "Nani?"
Nagihiko laughed. "What's wrong with you? You've been like this for two weeks."
"It's nothing." I answered.
Suddenly, a random sensei burst into the Royal Garden.
"Hai, sensei?" Tadase asked politely.
"Ahem." She said. "As you all know, the Guardians are a role model for the student body... Perfect grades, as well, as behavior."
We nodded.
"DEMO!" The sensei said, startling us.
"THERE ARE TWO OF YOU FAILING SUBJECTS!" She yelled. "Hinamori Amu, F in Japanese, F in English, D in mathematics. Missing assignments in Japanese, History, mathematics, and science."
I snickered, and so did Yaya. Amu-baka over here...
"And, ________ ___________, F in P.E."
"EHHHH?!?!" I cried. "P.E. counts here in Japan?!"
"Of course it does," she said. "Make sure to make up these grades over the four day weekend."
She left.
'Doushiyo?!' I thought. 'If my Egg hatches...'

*Time skip, second day of the four day weekend*

I stood in the middle of the gym.
The random sensei stared at me, before saying, "Run, 10 laps!"
I ran around the gym.
"Go, ________!" My Shugo Charas cheered.
"I... am dying!" I yelled after the first lap.
I saw my egg tilt to the side. It was going hatch pretty soon if I continued this. So, I spontaneously landed on my face.
The sensei sighed. "Alright... Next thing... Hm..."
I watched her think.
"I've got it!" She cried. "Follow me."
I followed her outside, where she stopped at the bars.
"I want you to spin on them." She said. "Do five spins, 10 pull up, and a 30 second L hold."
"And then I pass?" I asked.
"And then you pass." She reassured. "Good luck."
I grabbed the shortest bar, and pushed off the ground. I hung upside down. Grumbling, I tried again, and again, forgetting all about the egg... I just wanted to get it over with.
Once I somehow finished the spins, I found myself struggling with the pull-ups."
"O-one." I cried. Determined to finish without stopping, I did a second one, and a third, and a fourth.
"Dame desu, ___________-San!" Setsuna cried. "The egg-"
But she was cut off as the last egg cracked open. The Shugo Chara had the palest brown hair I have ever seen, as if had been bleached, in a long braid, and electric green eyes. She wore a pair of the shortest shorts I have ever seen and a (3rd fav. color) jersey that had two zeros. She wore running shoes and low cut socks. "Yo!" She cried. "Makoto-desu! You can call me Mako-chan!"
I let out a heavy cough, dropping down from the bar. I was on my hands and my knees, feeling a fever coming on.
The sensei came up to me, worried. "If you weren't feeling well, you should've said so!" She cried. "Pity cried, I'll give you an A. I don't want to be here anyway..."
And, with the help of Mako-chan's "sports strength." I hobbled home.

*time skip, home*

I opened the door.
"Okairi..." Ikuto said, peeking up from his spot on the couch.
"Ta-daima.." I said, Mako-chan's strength wearing off me.
"Doushita?" He asked. "You don't look-"
I collapsed, but he caught me before I hit the ground. He put his forehead to mine, probably sending my temperature from 98 degrees to 1000 degrees Fahrenheit.
"You're burning up..." He said. "Where is the fourth egg?"
"Hey, I have a name!" Makoto snapped.
"Ahh... Another annoying one to add to the pack..." Ikuto muttered. "But, never mind that, let get you into bed."

After I was all settled, he looked me deeply in the eye, then sighed. "I really can't keep this up anymore..."
I looked at curiously.
"___________.... I have to tell you something. And, I don't know how to put it without hurting you..."
