Shugo Chara: Ikuto x Reader

Another Ending:

You guys requested that I make another ending where you don't die... So... Here it goes...

Beep... Beep...
I was pretty sure I was dead.
Beep... Beep...
But, there is an annoying noise.
Beep... Beep...
'Just shut up!" I thought. 'I want to die in peace!'
Beep... Beep...
My eyes flew open.
My hand flew to my heart, where an echo of pain lingered behind.
I was in a hospital. I could hear my heart rate go a little faster from fear. I closed my eyes and listened to the sounds outside the door... It wasn't an empty hospital. There were people outside.
I sighed in relief.
But... What happened again? Why was I here?
"My memories are a little fuzzy..." I said.
The door burst open.
Nagihiko stepped in, looked at me with forlorn eyes... Then, did a double take.
"______!" He cried in dismay. He rushed up to me. "Doesn't hurt anywhere? We were so worried.... You were out for two months... We thought you would die in the hospital bed... But your heart was beating so strong..."
He hugged me. "He was worried, too you know."
"He?" I asked, not exactly remembering who 'he' was. "Which he?"
"Oi, Nagihiko!" A voice yelled. "You dropped this in the-"
Navy blue hair. A face that seemed familiar. His name was on my tongue.
Nagihiko stepped away from me. "I'll give you two some alone time." He said, walking out of the room.
"IKUTO!" I cried as he ran into my open arms.
He nuzzled his head into my hair. "_________." He whispered. "________... Gomen ne. Honto ni gomen."
I could feel his tears fall on my scalp.
"Don't apologize." I whispered. "Boast... Be cocky, like you usually are. Rub it in my face. You saved me."
He pulled back, wiped his tears, and smirked. "R-right." He said. "I saved you, _______ ________. You owe me... Big time."
I nodded, not noticing the tears falling from my eyes. "Hai."
"And, so." He said. "The first thing you owe me..."
"Wha-" I started.
He quickly leaned down and kissed me. I gasped.
He separated a few minutes later. "Okairi." He said, ruffling my hair.

It's been a month since I was released from the hospital.
Unfortunately, Chizuru, Setsuna, Aine, and Makoto haven't came back. But, it's okay... The Superintendent said they might be living inside my heart, waiting for an opportunity to come back.
Ikuto and I still live in MY apartment. He acts as if he owns the place.
Things have gone back to normal.
I was, unfortunately, kick off the Guardians, since I didn't have any Shugo Charas. But, they were still my friends.
I took entrance exams already, and I'm currently awaiting the answer from Ikuto's high school.
I opened my mail box... To find a big envelope awaiting me. I shrieked in happiness. I clicked the elevator's button... But when it didn't come after 2 seconds I yelled, "SCREW THIS ELEVATOR!" And ran all the way up the stairs.
I threw open my door, and said, "IKUTO, I-"
"Omedeto." He said.
I looked up.
Chizuru, Setsuna, Aine, and Makoto descended from the roof, holding sparklers. Ikuto and Yoru smiled as I hugged my Charas close. "Minna." I said. "Aitakatta."
They separated so that I could meet up with Ikuto.
He threw his arms around me.
"I got in." I said.
"I know." He answered. "And, so... How shall we celebrate?"
The look he was giving me hinted something bad. I shoved him backward a little.
"Kimochi warui." I said, my face red. "HENTAI!"
He blushed. "I... I didn't mean it that way!"
Thankfully, my phone buzzed.
Amu, Tadase, and Nagihiko also got into their chosen schools and were suggesting a celebration party.
I glanced at Ikuto, then turned and started to hurry away.
"Chotto!" He snapped, catching up to me in one stride and holding me firmly by the waist. "Where do you think you're going?" His breath tickled my ear.
"Ettooo..." I said, forgetting my destination, losing my train of thought, all because he was holding me close.
"You're never going anywhere without me... Ever." He said. "Even in death, I'll right beside you."
He spun me around and kissed me passionately.
