Shugo Chara: Ikuto x Reader

Ch. 16: I'm Sorry Nagihiko-kun...

I guess he had used some sort of drug to make me fall asleep. I guess he dissected me in front of Nagihiko, who could do nothing. I guess he had extracted my Shugo Charas' Shugo Chara-ness and inserted it into my heart. I guess that process killed Aine, Chizuru, Setsuna, and Makoto.
And, I guess I'm just his play thing now.
I had no control over myself. He was controlling me with that electronic device on my heart.
I looked in the mirror. It was not fair. I looked perfect and I wanted to stay that way... But, I wanted my Shugo Charas back, I wanted my old self back.
I had Aine's hair and her perfect figure. I had Makoto's burning spirit and endurance. I had Setsuna's eyes and knowledge. And, I had Chizuru's clothes, agility, and bravery. I was so perfect, it sickened me.
My first mission, beat up Nagihiko... Extract my perfectness to him... And we'd be a team.
I'm sorry, Nagihiko-kun.

*time skip*

Nagihiko was currently bruised and laying probably half-dead on the cold metal table. Rhythm was beside him.
I watched as my friend and his Shugo Chara were dissected.
Apparently, for all of this to work out, all Shugo Charas were to be dissected with their human, so their original essence can blend with that of their Shugo Chara. It's complicated, but basically, it's what'll make me a perfect me and Nagihiko a perfect Nagihiko. It keeps us from looking too much alike. But, it's also what controls us, it's linked with our hearts.

Nagihiko awoke. He had Rhythm's clothes and hair, but his own eyes.
We were walking down the street, probably looking like crazy cosplay kids.
I felt tears form, but they never fell. Even my emotions were controlled.
Nagihiko cast a glance at me. His he laced his finger with mine, reminding me that he was still there.
Wait a minute...
I may not have known Sensei Sensei for that long, but he isn't one to comfort. That was Nagihiko's own gesture.
The surgery/experiment wasn't successful on him... But I was pretty sure Rhythm is gone... So, why?
