"Bella it's not a good idea." I advised, my eyes planted on her as she rushed out the front door. I followed after her. The weekends were the worst, and now they were about to be even worse. Bella was going to go to the Blacks house. She was going to see Jacob, no matter what.

"Are you coming, or not?" She gave me a hard look, determination in her eyes. I thought for a moment, it was a horrible idea, but I did want to see them. I rolled my eyes, but hopped in the passenger seat. For a second she just looked at me, but nodded then drove off. She was going as fast as she could. It wasn't very fast, but I was okay with that, not everything about me was completely different. I didn't mind going only 50 miles per hour, and I didn't mind walking at a normal pace. I was still human. In my mind.

Once we got there Bella knocked furiously on the door, "Bella, calm down. I'm sure there's an explanation to why he isn't answering your calls." I gave her a concerned look, but she just rolled her eyes.

"Yeah mono." She knocked again. This time, the wheel-chaired Billy Black opened the door. A kind smile when he saw Bella, but a disgusted one lined his face as his eyes shifted to mine. "Where's Jake." She demanded, her tone harsher than usual.

"He's not in." He was about to close the door, but she caught it, letting herself in.

"Bella!" I scolded. Then I gave Billy a sorry look and followed after her.

We found him sleeping soundly, his room stinking just as much as everything did on the res. This was something I really wasn't used to, so I involuntarily scrunched my nose.

Bella huffed, disappointed. She and I left the room. She didn't apologize to Billy on her way out, but I again passed him the same sorry look I did earlier. He didn't return, he glared instead. I rolled my eyes. I was sick of being nice to people who weren't going to return the same respect. I hated that he just figured, with one look at me, that I wanted any of this to happen. That I wanted to be everything I hated.

My anger wasn't balled up and shoved in a box anymore, it coursed through my still breathing body, but I bit my tongue. I bit back the harsh, rude thoughts. Thoughts that were more for Laurent than Billy.

I forced myself to calm down, so I would see more than the rusted orange truck before me. Bella was looking at something, her frustration seemed to be burning off of her too. I followed her eyes, landing on three young, shirtless men. Sam, Paul, and Jared. They were looking at us too.

Bella walked toward them, and I did the same. I was surprised that in her anger she didn't fall a single time.

"Hey, what did you do?" Bella said, almost yelling at Sam. She wasn't the confrontational type, but when it came to people she didn't want to lose, I guess it didn't apply. It was more my style, to be hot headed and a little up front. "What did you do to him?" She asked again. She pushed Sam's chest. My immediate reaction was to step in between the two, but obviously that would lead to a bad assumption on Sam's end. I reeled myself in and stepped closer to here.

"Hey, easy!" Sam told Jared, holding an arm out, stopping Jared from moving.

"He didn't want this!" Bella waved her hands around angrily.

"Bella, please." I reached out to grab her arm, but she jerked away from me. I wasn't going to force her away. I was afraid of myself, afraid to grab her too tightly.

"What did he do?" Paul scoffed at her. I wanted to glare, but it would only antagonize him more. "What did he tell you?"

"Both of you need to calm down!" Sam commanded, but no one was listening. I shot a glance at Sam, but he only stared into my eyes for a few seconds before we returned to the angry Paul and Bella in front of us.
