Though the end of the trip was nearing closer by the day, there was one thing giving them hope and happiness. Laylannas birthday. The youngest of the group would finally turn 16, so back home she could drive, and though she'd still be the youngest, at least she'd be the same age as Tommy, granted he'd be turning 17 before her . But for now, she was just the birthday girl, not the youngest not the 15 year old. Just Laylanna the 16 year old.
During the trip, she had forgotten that her birthday was even coming up. The trip had been so eventful, that she forgot about it until the night before
"Ooh! My birthday is tomorrow, I completely forgot"
What she didn't know is that everyone didn't forget, they wanted to make it a surprise. They would make it seem all chill and laid back, since that all she really wanted, but they were gonna surprise her.
"Ooh right. You exited" Tommy asked her
"I mean if it means I have lived another year than yeah!"
The whole group was sitting in the living room playing Jackbox, quite litterly for fun. No stress, when Laylanna remembered out of nowhere.
"Well, speaking of birthdays, I'm gonna go sleep till mine. Goodnight everyone" Laylanna announced. The groups plan worked perfectly. She was going to sleep early, so they could set up the house. She didnt know what was coming, but she had a feeling that it was gonna be more than she asked for

When she woke up the next morning she saw neither Tommy nor Tubbo in their beds. Even more weird the beds were made. Odd she thought. She decided to nice as it was her birthday. She opened her phone to see plenty of messages on Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter and various others. But what she didn't expect to see was a message from her Father

She chuckled. She had cut contact with her mom and dad almost completely, but kept her dad in her phone as his name. It was small, and quite frankly boring but she expected nothing less. She picked out a cute outfit and quickly styled her hair and makeup. She looked good, and she knew it. She posted on Instagram for the first time in a while.

She closed her phone and as soon as she opened the door was greeted with balloons. The fell into her room and into the hall. And behind the balloons was all her friends
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY LAYLA!!" The all shouted
"Oh my goodness! Thank you guys" she answered. Tommy grabbed her hand
"C'mon ma lady" he led her and the group downstairs into a decorated Sitting/dining room, with the kitchen decorated as well. She was led over to the Kitchen table where there was food set up on 9 of the plates. Bacon, Muffins and French toast. Her favorite breakfast foods.
"Guys— I can't this is too perfect." Laylanna told them
"Don't delay, dig in!" Dream told her
"Just making sure, Clay, you made this correct?" She asked
"Yes don't worry."
"Alright then lets dig in." They all day down around the table, and had Laylannas favorite songs playing in the background. It was quite calming, and she was surrounded by the people she loves the most. The laughs that went around the table meant a lot to her and she was very much enjoying it.
Breakfast errr more like Brunch finished, the group lead Laylanna over to the couch. She was surrounded by streamers and balloons and a big pile of presents. She was overloaded with the amount of presents there was.
"Lets get started!" Wilbur said "this is from me and Niki, mainly Niki because she knows these things" Laylanna opened the box to see a tie-die yellow red and orange sweat set with sweatpants and a crop top.
"Ooh. My. Goodness. THIS IS SO CUTE!! Thank you Niki. Ooh and Wilbur" Wilbur and Niki laughed
"Your very welcome" niki said. Dream stepped forward with a bag in his hand. Obviously wanting to go next. So Laylanna opened the bag. House keys?
"Hold on I'm confused. Who's keys are these?"
"There gonna be yours. Your brother already knew this, but if your okay with it. You and your brother are moving to Florida and we are all buying a new house!"
"No fucking way."
"Yes fucking way. We can show you the house later" Sapnap explained
"HOLY SHIT!! This is AMAZING. I don't know if any of y'all's presents can be better than this."
"Ours might." Tubbo said. "Me and Tommy have been talking a lot. Figuring out the perfect present."
"I did most of the thinking" Tommy added
"Shhh she doesn't need to know that. Anyways, close your eyes and ears."
"Uhhh okay?"
Laylanna did as she was told. She had her brother cover her ears and she closed her eyes. She was anxiously awaiting when she felt something heavy on her lap and opened her eyes. She looked down and
"A PUPPY?!!?" On her lap was a baby Dalmatian. "No fucking way." The small dog jumped on top of her and she was in paradise. "How many of you knew about this and how?"
Tommy stepped in "well, we all knew and took turns throughout the night last night watching her, it's a girl btw, and we got her yesterday. I already double checked with customs and everything that you can bring her home easily. And she's already registered to you."
"Tommy and Tubbo I love both of you, but OMG, I love this puppy more!"
"Do you have a name in mind?" Niki asked.
"No I actually don't. I don't wanna be generic, but I want it to be cute. Not a human name. Ya know what? Get Minx on a call."
Niki quickly FaceTimed minx from her phone "what do you want?" She asked
"I don't need anything it's Layla that does" Niki said while handing Laylanna the phone
"LAYLAA, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! what is up bitch?"
"Not much just got a puppy, you?"
"Not much- WAIT PUPPY?"
"Yes you and Niki are helping to name it."
"WELL WHAT IS IT?"
"She's a Dalmatian. And I don't wanna be basic"
"What about like a flower?" Niki suggested to which the girls went quiet. They looked at eachother
"ALIUMM!!!" They all said. The three girls all loved aliums, so it was fitting.
"Her name is now Alium." Laylanna said.
"I love it" Tommy said
